Do you still rank in the engines?

Do the links show up in Yahoo Site Explorer?

I would wait a week or so and see if they re-appear, may be too early to draw conclusions. When Google dances, there is a lot happening and things come an go including rankings, pages indexed and visible links.

Have you been tracking your page ranking, that's really the bottom line, I hear they may hold links from backlink credit, it's possible they were being ignored already.

In any case we're all interested in knowing how far is too far to take linking, any more information you care to share about your link sources would be appreciated, did you immediately start adding backlinks to a brand new domain name?

The site has been online since Mar 2011. It has been indexed since Apr 2011. I started building links manually in May. I had better than 500 by Jun 1. Then I joined here sometime in Jun 2011 and started reading/researching. I purchased most of my linkbuilding from Fiverr.

here is what I did:

I puchased 31k statistic sites and forums:

These are in the url.txt file.(these are in submission format) It was also submitted to 366 directories which you can see from the screenshot. You have already started receiving emails for the directory submissions and these are in the attached email, these take a long time to come in as they are manually approved. If you are not familiar w/ Micro Blogs, these are blogs that are similar to twitter.They update statuses &each update makes about 10 links. I will get you OVER 200 direct links from these. Keywords are actually tags not anchors. A range of PR &most are DOFollow. Cool thing, sometimes they start showing in google search same day! They are tagged &Rss fed then Pinged. Huge! Pretty powerful little links, microlink from microblogs. An edu included.

I pinged everything one time only. I do have article marketing going as well. 5 articles were posted last week, but that was it. Each article is associated with my website and all pages are indexed and went to 5 major article sites. All article content passed copyscape. I haven't done anything other than this.

Does anything here jump out at you?

As for ranking, google still shows my website as having page rank. For now, my graphics are ranking best. My pages are in the 3.7 to 260 range. I really just started targeting keywords as I am very new to actually doing SEO on my own.
