MOBILE MARKETING > Question

Hey guys this is for all you Mobile Marketers out there. I'm looking into getting started with Mobile Marketing. What companies do you guys recommend (a.k.a. have had experience with).

I'm hearing mixed reviews about ADMOB... any comments on that or does it depend on the offer? (Aps, ring tones, video)

Thanks in advance!

Mike, I would say "Just about everything" .. It could be a restaurant, a salon, Car Dealer, Bakery, etc ....

Remember and look at every company as your customer... Approach them and let them know that you could help them with certain things but NEVER show or tell them that you are selling a product ... Create the need...

From a Case Study, on using AdMob
    The Result
    • Increases in call volumes of up to 800 per cent
    • Significant rise in number of sales from mobile and overall
    • Gained valuable insights for future mobile advertising activity

LOL... I should have maybe been more clear... I am not look for ideas of companies I can reach via mobile marketing. I am looking for companies that I can run campaigns through like AdMob for example. But what are some more of those types of companies that sell PPC.

If you are looking for Mobile CPA Networks, here are some:

B2Mobile - Focuses on SMS-based (text messaging) offers

Liquid Wireless - New network that sources offers directly and doesn't rely heavily on premium SMS offers

MobPartner - More global offers than U.S. offers but pretty broad list of advertisers

OfferMobi - One of the largest domestic players, focuses on a handful of verticals

SponsorMob - Mostly international with some saturated domestic advertisers

    We're getting warmer...

I want to run my own marketing campaigns for my own free offers to build my own list. I'm not interested in paying affiliates to do that for me. What I'd like to know is companies that are similar to AdMob. Where I can login, run a mobile campaign and see the analytical data.

    Thanks,

I think everyone has missed answering your questions. The two big mobile ad platforms are Admob and Jumptap.

Admob: Google bought it, has good demographics/targeting, and can track the carrier & handset

Jumptap: VERY good and LOTS of easy tracking parameters, you get an AM even if you aren't spending $500 +/day

These are the two I use, but targeted clicks especially in the U.S. are pretty expensive. I really have not had any success with mobile marketing. If you still want to promote/list build through mobile I would get an aweber account then use this tool to make a mobile squeeze page.

Check out Fiksu.com. There doing some really cool stuff right now. Basically they'll manage your ad campaign over a number of different platforms like admob, iAd, TapJoy, etc. and get you the best ROI for your conversion.

The only bad thing is they take 20% of your budget.

If your looking for something a bit more simple try..

    1. TapJoy
    2. Admob
    3. iAd

There are actually some really great one on one opportunities with certain apps out there but I can't give away ALL my secrets. Sorry!
