Does Increasing Youtube Views Help Your Video Ranking?

I have seen people selling youtube views and likes and wanted to know why someone would pay for this uninterested traffic?

Thanks...

From what I can tell, the amount of hits on a page is important in ranking on any site in Google, and especially on You Tube. Views, back links, and a good long description with the usual keword density of about 3%, although I've seen You Tube videos with keyword stuffed descriptions and probably not many back links doing really well in Google, so yeah, views ranks You Tube videos.

I agree, that why people buy views on Youtube, I tried it and see a lot of good videos promote it. One day, it can get thousand of views, I reviewed it on my blog.
But I think a good videos need to SEO with title, tag, description and the title must get attention of people.

      Hi,

Yes. The number of views do affect Video Ranking on YT.

On top of views, you need to give the Title & Description that are relevant to get the ranks.

Do not rely on the auto-titling by YT as you upload the video. Change it.

Don't play too much on the tags like stuffing it with irrelevant keywords. You might get banned.

Put tags 1 or 2 days later after the video is uploaded. And place 4 or 5 tags relevant to your video. Then create an overlay text relevant to your videos. This is an additional effort to get ranked.

YT do use HUMANS to check relevancy, at random when it is flagged.

Yes, getting Likes, Views and even Comments is a must for a YouTube video that you're trying to rank above competing videos with these factors.

Many providers on Fiverr do well by selling such services.

However, you can also use free tools like Viewet.com, YouLikeHits.com or Tweinds.com to get views over to your video.

These are pretty essential steps for outranking competition on YouTube. But often they are not needed if your keyword lacks strong competition. And this happens to be the case many times.

Personally, I think the number of views, and the number of backlinks a video gets are related.

With that in mind, I think the more backlinks a video gets, the better its going to rank. The number of views is just a side effect of links and ranking.

YouTube search engine is works like as Google search engine. but to appear in YouTube 1st page you don't need any backlinks to your video.

    The thing you need
    1. More views than your competitor
    2. More Likes than your competitor
    3. Some particular keyword and you have to choose your title and taq on that based
    4. Description of the video also make effect on that things.

But to appear your video in Google search page you must have some backlinks and good keyword.

    Thank you

You can see views as the trust and how popular of the videos.
When you see more views you will feel that..oh...there must be something good here why a lot of people watch it.

Apart from the views, there must be sub, comment and like to measure how hits it is.

Google would never tell the SEO factors, we have to test it then we know.

Views definitely plays a role in raking- and it also adds social proof. All other things being equal which video would you trust more- one with 200 views or one with 2,000 views?

Here's some steps I follow to rank videos:

➥Keyword research before uploading. Once you find your targeted keyword save your video file name to that keyword before uploading. Very important!

➥Optimize for that keyword, here's a good title template "Keyword- 5 Ways to Improve Keyword". Use your keyword in the first sentence of the description as well as throughout maintaining a good keyword density.

➥Use your keyword in the tags, as well as 2 or 3 relevant keywords.

➥Submit link to social bookmarking sites as well as RSS feed directories.

➥Start boosting your views. I recommend using ZergUp for views- it's free and works as a view-exchange. You can also get bonus views for tweeting their link, writing a blog post about them, etc. I also use that site to get 'likes' and subscribers.

➥Embed your video on video embed sites. Tagworld.com, Vlad.tv, Vidipedia.org, etc. Try a Google search for "embed your Youtube video" or "post your Youtube link".

These tips may seem excessive but should land you a top spot in rankings and drive plenty of traffic to your videos.

Good luck with your video marketing!

Views help. But likes, comments and relevant title and description matter. It is a combination. Build smart, build slow, the search engines will love you

Can your videos get banned or deleted from Youtube if they find out that your views and likes are fake?

Just like how Google will punish you with spammy back links.

    It will affect it yes.
So will how well you have optimsed the video for the search engines.
The age of the video has a lot to do with how well it ranks also.
I have videos there since YouTube began and they have thousands of natural views and have
ranked well and bring in good monthly Adsense.
Don't buy views, likes, comments etc as in time you wil find your video and possibly your account gone.

There's no doubt that Views helps to increase your video ranking.

But there ofcourse some other factors that you have to consider that includes title. description and tag. And like, favorites, comments also do a good favor to video ranking.
    Thanks

Numbers of views of course an important fact but over fake views can turn into disaster if you know what I mean.

i've seen youtube views within the first 48 hours of launching your video to help your rankings in the long run..

however why you would want to buy (if you even would) is to just increase the credibility of your video. if you have 1 video on a subject with 70 views and one with 100,000 which one would you trust more? probably the one with more views
