hiding name servers of domain

Hi Warriors,

is it possible to hide name servers of domain( to be not viewable via whois service )?

    I doubt it. Besides, why the need for it unless you're up to no good?

    competitor wrote to my hosting company that I violate dcma, however my sites are ok
    and hosting company without any warning and any verifications of competitor claims just suspended my account

    any advices?

      If you are up to no good, whether your whois or server information is published publicly, a hosting company will still take action and/or give your information to any authorities that request them.

      My only advice is to contact the hosting company and explain the situation. That's your only option... that or starting again with another host.

      Ok, hosting companies will protect themselves and their business first; you've got to get in touch with them by email or phone and explain why you believe that your sites are legitimate. Make sure you can back up your claim that your sites are ok - if you can't and you don't have a recent backup of the data, you might be left in an awkward situation of not being able to move the files to a new webhost.

      ps some hosting companies offer anonymous nameservers - BUT it will still be possible for one hosting company to find a route for complaint .....
