The short answer is yes, if your good and honest. There are other avenues.

(i) You have to select the products wisely: without getting this part right, it doesn't much matter what else you do; (ii) You have to pre-sell effectively to well-targeted traffic; (iii) You have to build a list and form relationships with the people on it, so that they'll buy on the strength of your recommendation. Without doing this, your conversion-rate will typically be somewhere between "very low indeed" and "non-existent". These things aren't optional: you really do need to do all three of them, otherwise you're probably chasing 10% (if that) of the possible money and ignoring the other 90%. There's a huge turnover of ClickBank affiliate marketers trying other ways and mostly not being too successful, but I think the above is pretty typical of those who make steady money from it. The "site you build" can be a one-page blog, which you can build in half an hour, but if you don't have one at all, bear in mind that your competitors (who get anywhere) all do. Just being realistic. | |

I like having a website as the hub of everything else I do to draw traffic, but it's still possible to place affiliate links in places without having your own website. If you can't put up a site yourself, you can still set up a lens on Squidoo, or get a Wordpress or Blogger blog. Facebook fan pages are also a great alternative these days. |

I agree with Alexa. If you don't do your research and find the 'right' product to promote, then it will be difficult to get sales. The problem with Clickbank is that you get paid almost immediately for any sales you generate but the disappointment comes when the buyers request a refund. That really hurts...it's like having a broken heart into hundred pieces, right Warriors. So choose your niche wisely with full research. |

Without a website, my advice would be to use another medium where you can build a loyal following - someone has mentioned it already, but you could use Squidoo. Start off by choosing your niche very carefully and providing top quality content, and as you go on you can incorporate your hoplinks (clickbank's affiliate links) into your content when people have started to trust you. Just don't spam them! |

It is possible to make money promoting Clickbank without a website. Just as it is possible for pigs to fly. But if you don't understand the basics for either, neither possibility even matters. |
