Hi everyone,

There's been a lot of talk about payment options other than Paypal lately. 2Checkout is one of the top alternatives, but there's that pesky $49 application fee to worry about.

Well not really...

You can get it waived using a discount code

All the coupons open to a 2CO page where you are prompted to open a free DEMO account.

Am I missing anything here?

How does DEMO translate into saving the $49 activation fee?

I guess I'm not a big fan of the whole ebay/paypal monopoly :0, so nice to know there are great alternatives out there.

Once you sign up for the demo, you can apply for the sellers account. While applying, you will see a coupon box in the right sidebar where you can redeem the coupon.

I had also used the code 10 Days Back and now have the Full account opeative after having the DEMO account first.

Smit - Take the code, Go straight to 2CO, open the Demo Account First, then submit your application for the Full Operative Account & use the Code for the Waiving of the fees. Will take 3 to 4 Days to have the Account Operative in Full Mode.

2CO offers some of the good features.

  That's a good question, because normally you need to pay a fee ($30?)for each extra domain you want to sell from. Not sure if you can use the discount to get those fees waived, or just $49 application fee. Anyone else able to answer this?
  
  My experiences so far: I used this discount and was approved within a week. The only hiccup was them emailing to say I needed to add some things to my site (e.g. a refund policy, etc. Nothing major). I have since used them to receive payments and everything's going smoothly so far.
