Hey guys and girls, how you doing? I absolutely don't know ANYTHING about podcasts and how they work, so it's probably a misunderstandment but...I just have a quick nanacast question. I want to distribute my product online (digitally) with Nanacast, and offer my customers a one time payment or payment in 4 installments. I know the recurring and subscription stuff is possible, but the digital distribution? Who can help, because I don't find the Nanacast site to be very logical (can't tell the forrest from the trees there) and same goes for all the previous posts about Nanacast here. I'm about to use them as my "merchant account", so I wanted to make sure you can sell products digitally with Nana. Regards, Dennis |

Nancast has amazing potential. Check this out (fasten your seatbelts) . . . 1. You can deliver your product online at a protected webpage; 2. You can deliver your product digitally as a podcast (audio, video and pdf); 3. I think you can deliver your product via RSS; 4. You can deliver your product via print; 5. You can deliver your product as a physical cd/dvd . . . . in AMAZON an BORDER's Online store (I think). Ultimately, it doesn't matter how YOU want to deliver the product. What matters is how the CUSTOMER wants the product. The truth is that some customers will want one, some want another medium. So the true power is that they get to choose. But it's even better . . . . You can do true OTO's. You can do nickel sales (where the price gradually increases before their eyes, driving the buyers crazy). You can do fire sales (where the price increases in increments after x number of purchases). It does the recurring billing stuff you mentioned in your post. Here's the drawback. The current tutorials do a great job of telling you what it does, but a not so great job of telling you how to do it if you're not technically savvy. I spoke to Josh, and he mentioned that they're working on new tutorials. Hopefully they'll be up this month, because I NEED THIS TOOL NOW!!!!! - Hint Hint Josh :-) In the meantime, if anyone is available as a hired gun to setup my site with Nanacast (and record it on Jing), please PM me as I'm not gonna be able to do it on my own the first time. |
