Any warrior had done it?

10 replies
Hi;
I just learning about promoting amazon products as their associate.
I need some encouragement while start doing it.

Anyone on warrior, whether it is you, or you know any warrior had done this,
making $10,000 per month from Amazon?

I just want to know, so that I can say, this is a reasonable achievement.

Thanks.....

I'm now at keyword research phase....the work is hard, but since I'm used to it, no problem at all

Regards;

    Hey Raja,

    My advice to you would be to diversify. Try a double whammy site with adsense at the top and amazon at the bottom or building the list.

    Consistency is the key my friend.

    Good luck

    It sounds like you're not starting out with a good business plan. If you're just beginning and already need other people to tell you there's lots of money to be made in order for you to convince yourself it's the right thing to do - You probably should do something else that you DO believe in and have a realistic expectation about.

    Most Amazon affiliates do NOT make thousands of dollars a month. Their commissions suck and you need a LOT of sales to make good money.

    If you don't already have experience in getting a lot of traffic and sales then you'll struggle to make it happen with Amazon.

      I've had some success in :
      - adsense

    As Andy has said, most people who promote Amazon products are not making that much money.

    It was my choice when I first started making money online to go witht the Amazon model, but it has taken me almost 1 year of hard work to reach £1k+ per month. I'm not going to kid you, it's been hard to reach this goal.

    I'm hoping to reach £2k+ per month by the start of 2012 & I'm them moving onto my next project, an authority site.

    I sometimes use Amazon just to try out different products and niches, but I would never dream of making that much with it, as other people said they just don't pay that much. The attraction, of course, is that you don't only get commission for what you promote, but I kind of suspect there's a lot of slippage, that is people using your affiliate link, looking at some stuff, then they close it and might come back to it later because it's Amazon and isn't exactly hard to find again.

    Hey Raja,

    I've seen warriors making a lot from amazon!
    You might want to check out the WSO section and search for "amazon".
    There's probably enough to learn about Amazon so I suggest you read as much as you can before you start

    Goodluck!

    I dabled with Amazon affiliate, (see my sig), but the results were disappointing.
    I chose a very techy niche and tried to capitalise on the new releast of a product.
    Lessons Learnt?
    1: Dont choose something with a finite timescale on a new site
    2: The product I chose can be bought and played the same day in shop from nearly every town in England - People wont want to wait for delivery
    3: Promotion. Due to my non IM full time job, I couldnt invest the time needed to heavily promote for launch day... result is low traffic and low revenue.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey Raja, all I can say is just read more about amazon affiliate strategies because every niche needs to be approached quite differently. I praise you for wanting to take chances and moving on to the next arena after all, that’s the true model of success. But learn about the best model to use Amazon. ‘By the way, CHRISTAMS is coming so GO FOR IT’! Try to promote to different language countries like france, germany, Italy, and you can triple your chance of making money. One rule of thumb, it is only hard as you make it. You are the architect of your successes, so keep it simple and make it happen. I believe you can do it if you willing to act the part.

      This is what it called, lesson learnt.
      Thanks by letting me know, so that I can improve and cut the learning curve.
