Screen flow/Camtasia vids

Whats going on War Room. I'm pretty new here...Been a member for like 15 minutes. Thats like 13 times longer than I last with my GF... Lol.. I kid, I kid.. Or am I?

Anyways on to my question

I'm putting together a walkthrough program on how someone can start and run an online business. Im planning on using a Camtasia or screenflow to walk them through the process of going setting up their website, creating their blog, using aweber and all the other things they will need to know to be successful. Do you guys think I Should outsource these videos or should I create them myself?

I would create them yourself. It's very simple and that way you can be sure that the message is presented in the way you want. But outsourcing is good too if you don't have the time or the desire.

Screenflow 3.0 is awesome. You can finally blur things out instead of having to use a white box image. I also think Screenflow > Camtasia (on a mac).

One thing that's helpful to anyone planning on doing what you're doing is to know to some degree what is already out there in regards to those types of videos.

They been done a thousand times and you can even buy a series of video on those topics as PLR very cheaply.

Or you can reinvent the wheel and compete with folks who are darn near giving the stuff away for free.

Bottom line...find out what is already out there if you are new. It may save you a lot of time and effort.

I agree with the others. I would create these videos yourself.

If you do decide to outsource it, I would recommend that you find a very clear, native English speaker. I would also recommend that before you did hire someone that you have them read you some samples over Skype to make sure that it's what you're looking for.

I think you should create them yourself and put your own special sauce in it.

I actually do the videos myself. But I'm having a problem making them look great. They are not crisp and clear and tend to stall. I create the videos in MP4 format and stream them through Amazon S3.

I am looking for a course, a book or just some ideas as to the best format etc. to use when creating the video from Camtasia. There are a number of different options when creating the videos and I've tried a bunch of them but they just don't seem to make a major difference.

Just looking for a resource or some ideas on how to improve the videos. Thanks.
