Making Money Online Question

Hi all,
I'm new here and this is my first post. Can anyone tell me the difference between
1.A Coaching program(like Kim Roach, Tristan Bull etc)
2.A Mentor Me style program(like Chris Farrell has)
3.A membership style teaching program (like Affilorama, Niche Profit Classroom, Chris Farrel Membership)

I have been fumbling with this IM thing for 3 years now and have not made anything to give my day job up for. I think I need to do one of the above 3 options to get to the next level.

But which one.........Thanks

    First post in 4 years??

You can get at least a little bit of that mentoring here if you spoke up more often.

I'm just generalizing that you get more hands on attention and pay more for the programs low to hi 3, 1, 2

Another membership site that was at one time a big deal costing $800/mo is stompernet, some of their library is out of date now, but they still have a faculty much more sophisticated than that one big selling, constantly self promoting one on Clickbank. Stompernet is something like $97/mo now and sometimes gives out hours of free info in promotion campaigns.

How much reading have you done in the forum. I wouldn't waste my money on high priced courses until I've read enough to know what it is I'd like to do ... what kind of business I'd like to start. You need to make the plan. Throwing big money at it won't do the trick.

As per the above comments, there is a ton of freely available information on here and elsewhere that you can get stuck into before you need to start worrying about programs like those you mention.

IMO, to be able to make money online is to know all the basics of IM first.
For example, you need to know basic website creation, wordpress, html, hosting, domain names, autoresponders etc.

Without these basics, it's quite hard to generate steady income online.

I'm not sure lol I look at coaching and mentor as one in the same since you'll be consulting someone for help. Maybe a mentor is less hands on and more advise. As for memberships sites, you'll be really teaching your yourself using the action plans the membership site has set for you. I would do some searching here first before you look into all that as it can be found here as well for far less or free. One thing is join the war room, tons of good information there.

IM is about marketing on the internet.

To succeed as an IMer you need to horn your skills, unfortunately not all of us can do this successfully. That is the plain truth, there is more wit than gust to succeed in this type of business.

    The basics of IM is:

Find a product or niche that is profitable.

To find a niche, go to Micro Niche Finder.

To find product/services go to Clickbank, or any other smaller but rewarding affiliate company.

Once you have a handful of niche/product ready

Use Google keyword tool or market samurai to do a thorough research on how much visit this niche or product receive every day/monthly.

If you can find a niche or product with about 10 or more keywords that can generate up to 35, 000 searches per month all in all then you a goldmine.

Next, buy a domain/hosting and include your keyword in your domain. Setup a site or selfhosted wordpress blog which is often easily and free for those who do not have money to spend on site building or premium themes.

Optimize your home page for your keywords and create a few pages from your keywords for your site/blog.

Add banner, compelling content and the rest.

Work on building back links using article marketing, press release, forum posting, web 2.0, rss feeds, blogging, blog commenting, link wheel, web directory submission and more.

I assure you, if you follow this to the latter you are going to find success at the end of the tunnel.

It might not look easy to begin, but once you create your first website and rank it high, its just going to be a piece of cake and also the beginning of a new dawn.

Alternatively, if you don't want to make money from products, you can add ad sense to your site and earn money for clicks.

    Wish you all the best!

    Hi Indian Prince,

I'm going to answer your questions with a few of my own.

    What do you want?

    Why do you want it?

If you can't anwser those two simple questions, then you will spend years going around in circles with not much progress.

But if you can answer the questions. I'm mean really think about it, and consider them on a little deeper level. And I'm not talking about... I want to make $100,000 by next june kind of stuff.

I'm talking about... Well, I want to replace my curent monthly income of about $3,100 per mo., So I can become a full time writer, writing fiction books kind of stuff.

    "DETAILS"

You have to look inside and really try to answer these questions honestly.

And then once know the anwsers to those questions, you ask youself some more questions like; What do I like do? Do I like writing? Do I like graphics? Do I like one on one speaking to people? Do I like sales? Am I more of introverted type of person or more of an extroverted sort of person?

What these questions will do for you is to see where you most likely fit in the IM WORLD. Once you have the anwsers to those questions, then you can start to search out the information, techniques and Mentors that are more tailored to WHAT YOU WANT, and WHO YOU ARE.

Once you do this... IM will become fun and you'll find that you will be able to stay focused longer in one area, which will lead to the SUCCESS that you seek.

    hopes this helps.
