I took Action!!! Am I ON THE RIGHT TRACK?

Well I joined this forum about 8 hours ago and already have made some good progress but i just wanted to check with the experts that i am doing everything right.

Earlier today i read a free ebook/report on bum marketing and video marketing by a member from the warrior forum cires123

His ebook/report(im just gonna call it a report for now on so i dont have to keep going ebook/report lol) was about bum marketing and video marketing.

So far today i spent about an hour researching what niche i wanted to go into i thought about going into the internet marketing niche because From what i have read it is a very good niche to get into but the competition is huge so i decided that i would start off with a smaller niche. After a little while of searching i was thinking about stuff that i like to do because it was recommended to me in the report that i should write about something i actually enjoy to do in real life because this would make the whole process easier.

So I thought why don't I make my niche Disc Golf some of you have probably never even herd of Disc Golf i Live in a rural part of upstate New York and thats a big sport up here but probably unknown in other parts of the country. Well anyway I did some keyword research on disc golf using Seo Book this is what i came up with.

I Found 5 Great Keywords Related to Disc Golf
Disc Golf Release Technique - 46 searches a day
Disc Golf Discs - 42 searches a day
Disc Golf Bags - 25 searches a day
Innova Disc Golf - 34 searches a day
Disc Golf - 630 searches a day (this one is going to be hard to place well on google but i think it is still worth a try because of its high amount of daily searches)

Next I wrote 5 articles this didn't even take me that long maybe an hour and half because of my knowledge of disc golf i already have.

Then i submitted the articles just to ezinearticles dot com because i dont want to have any problem with my first 10 articles with them so once they get approved then i will re submit them to other article directories.

After this i found an affiliate program I was in between a ebook on How to perfect your disc golf technique and just selling Disc golf's and getting affiliate sales off of those. I decided to go with just trying to sell regular disc golf disc's i decided this because i feel that people really aren't looking to read a book on how to become a better disc golfer its not a competitive enough sport I dont think atleast that people will be looking online for books on disc golf so i think the 4-7 dollar commission i make per sale with the Disc's will be fine.

Then i set up a very simple squidoo lens with 3 Disc's A putter Driver and the Long Driver. I Put a video of people using the discs on the lens i described the discs and then of course i have my affiliate link to the website selling the disc. I also put some pictures to make the lens look really nice.

This is what i have so far I have taken action!

Please let me know what else i should do or can do to possibly get more traffic or if i have done something wrong let me know.

P.s. squidoo is a great website but would getting my own website so i can use adsense be worth it?

P.s.s. can i see how many views my lens gets like can i use analytics on a squidoo lens
