What do you think this means?

Okay so I have been working steady since my product launch to start generating some traffic. I started an adwords campaign today and have been watching my traffic stats for my page. So here is what is happening.

I am not getting a ton of hits but I am doing better then I have been. Today so for I have had about 30 hits from new visitors to my page. I haven't made a sell on any of those yet but they are spending a amazing amount of time on my page. All of them are.

I have watched them they are spending an average of 10 mins on my page some have been on there for 20 mins the shortest time anyone has view it is like 4 mins.

Is this good? Does that mean they are interested in what I am saying or is everyone falling asleep and forgetting they are on my page? I found it really interesting cause this has not been the case in recent days when I wasn't getting the targeted hits that I am now starting to get now.

Most of the hits I have been getting up until now have been from affiliates that where looking at new products on clickbank or what not. So what should I think about this. Is it good or bad? Might I make my first sale soon? It has been puzzling me all day. Thanks in advance if you know what I am dealing with and have some input.

It would help if you post a link to your website. Anyways, if the amount of time that users spend on your website is accurate (May not be), then it means you have some good content but you do not have a smooth transition from your content to sales. Then it means you should have that. In other words when the prospective customer has spent that time and is highly engaged, then he/she should see your recommendation or offer and turn to actual customer. I believe if those statistics are accurate then this should be the thing for you to focus on.

The link for my site is in my sig but I will include it in this post.

      Essentials For The Herbal Hound

From what I have been told and gathered in reading I could expect a sell somewhere between every hundred to three hundred visitors. So I hadn't been too upset that no one had bought it yet since I am nowhere near those numbers.

Now here's the other thing about 1/3rd of those people have gone on to view the order form but they didn't buy the product they just went to the order form. So they are clicking the order now button but I am losing them after that. At least as for as I can tell that is what is happening.

Sorry I am just so new at this and am just trying to get an idea of what is going on with this page. Thanks again.

        Couple of thoughts...

If the affiliates are attracted to your CB offer it may be due to the $99 price as opposed to actually wanting to promote the product. That's just a guess, so don't give it too much weight.

As far as the $99 price goes, that is Steep with a capital S. Not sure how you arrived at the conclusion your market will pay that much.

Additionally, your three "Learn to Get Rich" bonuses are a huge disconnect from the original offer. They may rob credibility from the offer as opposed to helping you create sales. If it were me I'd stick to the original reason someone would want to spend what amounts to a lot of money for the product and keep the bonuses related to the niche.

Thanks for your input everyone. I really appreciate it. I know it is still super early in the game to figure this one out. I will just think of it as a good thing and see what happens over the next couple of weeks. I just thought it was pretty strange. Thanks again.

          Bill,

Thank you for your input on my book. I am not too concerned about affiliates at all mainly cause I would rather sell it myself and keep the whole sum as oppose to relying on someone else to do it for half the money. If that makes since so I don't put much weight on the affiliates.

About the price of my book. It was very simple for me to come to that price and I personally think it should be priced a lot higher. I am not an IM person. I am a offline business person. I own a dog salon and I have my own product line. I spent 3 years developing this business plan into a ebook. I researched it day and night and I have lived it. Had someone told me years ago they could give me the knowledge it took me years to prefect for $99 I would have jumped on it.

This book is as close as someone is going to get to me taking them by the hand and showing them how to start this business and make it work. Consulting is expensive. This is not just a book it is a proven business plan. There are lots of free how to make your own dog shampoo recipes online made from dish washing liquid and vinegar. If you tried to retail them as a product you would have some very unhappy customers. My book has high end recipes not found anywhere else that can be bottled and sold for a large mark up. Even when I helped my friend get into this business she bartered me over $500 in pet apparel for my shop and she is one of my best friends.
My book is priced high because I believe it is worth every penny of that.

As far as my bonus material. If I could offer everyone in the world the secret for free I would. because I believe it to be an important part in creating a successful business. I have personally read those books and I believe every word of them to be true. Take it or leave it. That is why they are on there.

So my approach to this book is probably very different then most IM people. I am not relying on this book for a steady income. I wrote it because no one else had. If it sales great if it don't well I had fun doing it anyway, but I refuse to under price my knowledge in this field. Thank you again for your input.

It's really tough to say, but a longer time on site is generally a good thing. 10 minutes is an excellent average, and does show that your readers are interested. However, depending on how many clicks you've got, it might not be enough to know whether or not there's something wrong with your sales page. Wait it out a bit longer and see if you get more sales, I would say.
