Anyone tested what % of sales is lowered when alternating payment processors?

I read a thread in which someone claimed that alternating payment processors lowers overall sales..

If anyone has actually tested this.. I'd like to know...
by what percentage did it lower overall sales?

I think the percentage lowers if you don't use clickbank. If you just use other payment processors, people are not inclined to buy because they pay you directly. If you use a third party like ClickBank, your customer feels safer since they could always ask clickbank for a money back guarantee.

    hope that helps

I'm with Siocowiz here, but I'll add that I trust Paypal a lot more than Clickbank. I've never had any trouble out of either company, so when I see one of their logos, I feel safer buying something.

As far as your original question...0% of lowering sales is acceptable. You never want to lower your sales; you always want to increase them!! =)

My question was not, in any way, related to why you personally wouldn't pay to another processor, or for opinions on why others wouldn't, nor what percentage, in your opinion, was acceptable.

My question was for a number. A hard fact.

[Edit] Apologies... I just realized how I titled the thread... I will change it now.
