Hi,

For a newbie like me, it is difficult to choose the right WSO. It is because almost everybody is claimimg that their offer is good and they have testimonials to vindicate their stand. It turns out that many of them are not true and there are some hidden conditions which seller never disclose. In this context which so called 'gurus' we should trust and what are the points one should note at the time of buying a WSO often claimed to be kingmaker. Warrior's experience and clarifications are welcome.

Giddu

Buying an WSO is like dating. You may date once, it is love at first sight, and, you off to sending wedding invititations.

    Or

You go dating and some dates are horrible and some are ok but none of them are marriage material.

    or

you date and find that you like all of em and you date em all until the relationship run its course....

Oh just forget it you get my point....

What is it you want to learn? I can answer your question better that way.

One thing I'd do is my due diligence. Check to see where and how much the member as contributed on the forum besides the WSO section.

Some people you won't resonate with and some you will. The ones you resonate with may be a good place to start when considering buying a WSO.

No one is going to post a WSO and say their product is average or even below par, right? Every merchant believes, or says their product is great! This comes with the territory as this is a marketing forum.

Seemingly outrageous income claims should be taken with a grain of salt when evaluating a WSO, and you should already have an idea of what methods you want to use to earn money in your online business and only buy WSO's that fit your model.

    Hi Giddu,

yes, you are right, you may find a great sales page of the WSO, which tells you how great is the product you are about to buy, or how many warriors had bought this one although the product it self is not worth it. This happens for couple of reasons.

    1) the warrior who had made this WSO, just gave out tons and tons of free copies before he started selling it and he asked for mandatory review from the ones who got it for free, this way he gets some reviews which are bad and some that are good. In the better case he/her will re-do the part which was realy bad and try to make the WSO better, but in most cases, they just pick the good reviews and post only these

    2) not all the people of the world will ever drive the same car, which means all the people of the world like different stuff. So if you didn't like the WSO you bought, someone else may love it !!

    3) As a newbie you don't know what you are looking for. You just want to learn, you need to earn some good money, and you are looking for a help in the WSO section. Nothing wrong about it, but it will take time to get the know how and recognize the once that help and the once that are just creep behind a good sales page. But even a great IMer buyer still learn and they will have to learn forever if they want to grow.

Sorry for such a long post, hope it answares a little bit your question.

    Adam

    There is no right WSO.

As Adam suggested, you will need to learn a lot from different sources. This means you may have to buy a few, before getting it right.

After you've started implementing, and building your business, you will then start buying only WSOs that are related to what you're already doing.

It is EXACTLY like Team X said. WSO's are like dating.

You may go through a bunch until you find the one that clicks and works for YOU!

Keep moving forward and never give up! That's the key!

The only difference is that in dating, moving through a bunch is much more exciting.

I do agree that it is difficult to choose the right WSO. Many are claiming that they are the best. Nobody is claiming that they are the worst. However, what we are in is a business. In a business there is a trial and error phase. You just need to be patience and the right time for you to succeed will surely come. When? Only you can tell. It depends on the effort and time you give. Never rely on WSO. They never tell the secret of their success. They just give some hints. If you fully understand them, then you will succeed. But if you just take a little of your time, then you will fail.

I always look in the reviews for :

I made xxxx usd in the first week or with this system.

You have to ask yourself why is nobody writing reviews with earnings .
Somethings you find a WSO with a couple of review claiming to make moeny with it.
Then it is interesting to buy it.

But that is just me ;-)

You need to put your critical hat on before visiting the wso section. I buy occasional wso's, but I always buy ones that "do" something - not just systems.

Income claims are just that. Claims. I could, for example, be a window cleaner and say "I made $5000 in just one week cleaning windows in my street - this is the exact method I used".

Think sensibly. Maybe the writer lives in a street full of 3 storey, terraced houses. All he had to do was hop from one house to the next and he knew all the people as he'd lived there all his life.

You, on the other hand, might live in a rural area, where the houses are several hundred yards apart and you don't know most of the people. By the time you've driven from place to place, loaded and unloaded your van and tried to sell your services to people who don't know you - do you think you'll earn the same amount?

No. You won't. All wsos rely on the PRIOR knowledge and experience of the writer. As a teacher I try not to make income and/or time claims in my products. I also try to identify what (if any) prior experience and/or knowledge is necessary.

If I had a say, I'd ban income claims altogether. They are meaningless and, in my opinion, demotivate people. If you don't make the claimed income in a week/day/month you make the assumption that the wso doesn't work. In fact all of IM (and most businesses) is a learning curve. YOU have to work out what your skills and abilities are. What interests you and what doesn't. Then, as with offline businesses, you pick up tips and techniques from others that you feel will add to your business.

No-one goes to a bookstore, buys a book and expects it to tell them exactly how to set up and offline business, right down to the exact income they will make. It's the same online.

"Fred" might well have made $7653.67 last week using his method. He probably did - that's why he's selling you a wso telling you about it. This week he's going to make $3876.43 - how? By selling YOU the wso telling you how he made the previous amount the previous week.

Income claims are as irrelevant online as they are offline. Income depends on your skills, your abilities, your location (as much online as offline), your ability to promote YOUR business to reach YOUR customers, your work rate, your dedication, your .........

    Hi Giddu....

There's a lot of WSO's out there and a lot to choose from. Let me suggest this approach....

Ask yourself what area of IM you are looking to learn about in a WSO (affiliate marketing, offline marketing, etc.). Furthermore, jot down those specific areas within the IM niche that you want to specialize in (i.e., Amazon, sniper sites, etc.). Now before you purchase it, I want you to research the method in 2 places:

    1) The War Room (if you have signed up for it)

    AND

    2) The 5 star posts and All In One Posts on the main forum

Just use the search function for both of the above and start taking notes. Along the way, bookmark posts that talk about key steps that work as well as pitfalls to avoid.

Once you do that, you will not only have a better footing with the material but you'll find that many of your unanswered questions have become answered. Often, you will find that you have enough material to forge ahead without having to purchase a WSO.

Of course, many of the WSO's on here are very valuable and give you a directed approach. However, instead of being unsure or second-guessing when purchasing a WSO among the thousands available, consider taking advantage of the wealth of information that's available outside of the WSO forum using the shortcuts mentioned above.

Well there are good WSOs and bad WSOs. But as you may, or may not have noticed, the pricing is always like insanely low. Though those prices are discounted, you shouldn't expect toooo much from a WSO. Usually you get a one-time service or a short report. You can earn money from the information or service, that you get from a WSO for sure, but most are promo offers for something bigger.

I have however set up a complete newbie friendly guide for affiliate marketing. It's from A-Z really. If you're interested, just check out my sig.

    Cheers

My advice is to avoid buying more than one or two WSOs.

Instead, sign up for the War Room. It costs under $40 and you will gain access to hundreds of WSO-quality posts.

Try not to spend much money until you've learned more about Internet marketing and what direction you would like to take. If you can first figure out what you are interested in, then you can schedule your learning time better.

Take into account your personality. For example, if you like dealing with people, then offline marketing can be a good way to go. If you like writing, you can create your own products or blog. If you like the technical side of things, perhaps flipping websites would suit your tastes. If you're a masochist, try building a hundred adsense sites.

    You get the picture.

Once you decide where your interests lie, then you can start putting together pieces of the puzzle. If you don't know what you would like to focus on, you will be jumping from one WSO to the next and sinking a LOT of money into information without taking action.

You might poke around the "reviews" forum to get extra insights. The posts there are more often honest and to the point.

One last note...Nothing is easy. There is so much conflicting information out there that you may have doubts about everything you read. The only way to know for sure if it works for you is to take action. Results will take some time. It does no good to read WSO after WSO and find excuses why they won't work. (<<<personal experience!)

As I said, find something you believe would suit you, then TAKE ACTION and don't stop. If you are unsure what would fit your personality, start another thread explaining about yourself and your personality and situation and ask for advice.

Yeah first thing first is join the war room. Second when your searching for a wso, use the search function and filter through wso that are closely related to the area of marketing your into. If you want cpa search for and so on. That way you can narrow down the amount of wso's being viewed. It is easy to get side tracked by a catchy headline. You don't want to be headline wso shopping, all that does is create an impulse buy.

Also, don't forget to use the advanced search and search by title only (at first) or you'll get every thread that even mentions it.

Try contacting the seller before buying. If they are available for questions and respond readily to other people's questions in the thread that's a good clue they are a legit and genuine caring person.

    I'll add...

If your "spider" senses are tingling because it takes days for them to get back to you or their answers are vague or avoid an (important) issue it's probably good to pause before buying until you can determine if something else is going on (e.g. they might be travelling). You may not feel like "bothering" them for a cheap product but believe me, many of the WSO sellers are making a LOT of money so they should be taking the time to answer your (and every ones) questions.
