Purchasing Twitter Followers in Fiverr, Is it Worth It?

I plan to outsource someone in Fiverr to get me a targeted Twitter followers in certain niche (usually the gigs offer 800+ to 1000+). I know it just costs $5 but is it worth it? Are the followers really genuine? And even if I request the vendor to get me specific followers from a niche and geo location, are the followers really in quality?

I've browsed through Fiverr and those "I will get you Twitter followers" gigs got mixed feedbacks. I just don't want to put myself in hassle having to unfollow 1000+ low quality people or getting banned from Twitter.

Any ideas, everyone? Anyone here have experience purchasing followers in Fiverr? thanks

The benefit of buying "stuffers" is it allows you to go and follow quality people.

    For example.

If you are at the max limit of 2000 that you are following and you only have 1000 that are following you back, you can't follow anyone else.

So if you buy 1000 "stuffers" that will take you up to 2000 followers and you can then go and follow 200 more people

If you have the time, you can find people in your niche that have "followback" lists.

People make lists for all types of things that hold up to 500 people per list. When you find a followback list within the niche you are in, you can follow those 500 and they will follow you back.

Do this twice and you have 1000 followers. You can find 4 of these lists and have 2000 a day.
However, the people you follow may take a while depending on often they login to Twitter.

There are followback lists that will follow you back within 24 hours so you should look for those lists first. It doesn't take long to just go down the list and check the "follow" button them.

Of course you can start expecting to get all of the folks that are going to come in here and say "yes but what kind of quality list is it"? Well they are followback lists WITHIN your niche of choice.

Once you build up a big enough following, you can start getting more specific about your target and qualifying them.

Remember that in Social Media, people love to follow people who are already being followed.
Social Proof. Once you have some Social Proof, people will start to follow you without your seeking them out.

p.s. The Fiverr gig isn't going to get you any better followers than what I just described. It's worth the $5 if you don't want to take the time, but you also don't know if the Fiverr gig will get you people targeted as well as the method I laid out.

Personally, I don't think so. I tried advertising with followers that I bought, and it didn't work out too well...
