Wealth Crockpot Versus Wealth Microwave
I love him - especially for an Internet Marketer because without any set paycheck, it's important for us to develop financial FREEDOM.
Yesterday he blurted out a quote:
"Wealth is created in a crock pot - it isn't made in a microwave."
I think many newbies (oh hell even some seasoned marketers) don't like to believe this. Is it POSSIBLE to see some profits using microwave wealth tactics?
Of course.
But we should all be building crock pot wealth - building up long-term sustainable businesses, not flash in the plan, "latest tactic" strategies that we have to worry won't be there when we wake up.
Personally, I adhere to the following belief:
Internet marketing newbies should be of SERVICE first. Work for other, already successful marketers. Not ONLY because it helps you make faster money of a significant amount (ie: $1,000 for an eBook project pre-paid NOW versus $1.75 on Amazon that won't get paid for 2 months) but being a service provider allows you to learn from other marketers. Watch what they're ordering - what TYPES of content? Read and learn from their specs! Where do they want backlinks built? Etc... it's the BEST form of spying!
Internet marketing newbies should THEN move on the PRODUCT CREATION. This is so that they will have something out there earning residual income - where they get all of the funds from it. Most newbies feel too intimidated by this. They shouldn't.
Internet marketing newbies should LAST move on to AFFILIATE MARKETING. And this, to me, should be done via true recommendations. Natural enthusiasm. Sharing what you use, or love with others. Not just "make a quick buck because the rent's due next week" marketing.
