I started on the Internet when I was 19 years old. I lost $15,000 trying to make money online until I was about 21 years old. However, my first year of real profit (22 years old), I made a high 5 figure income, and 4 years later ....

    it's amazing

you have to keep pushing yourself.

    Hey Falkinn,

Why dont you try bum marketing.

I just started yesterday and i have learned that the most important thing is to take action because if you don't you can't learn from your mistakes.

I started off by reading a free report in the wso section about bum marketing
Let me see if i can find the link...
    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...g-secrets.html

I highly recommend you check it out the report is great also the person who wrote it has personally answered all of my questions through pm.

    Hope this helps,

    John

I have to say that for a beginner the best path to take is probably going to be bum marketing as many have said.

      Any questions just pm me

      Hi John,

I appreciate you giving such good comments about my free ebook though i am not sure this is the right place to be giving links to ebooks i think pm's will be more appropriate.

The reason i say this is because your not supposed to promote products in the forum even if they are free.

In my opinion one of the main qualities you have to have in IM is persistence. When you start you are bound to make some mistakes and you usually find out that it is harder than you think.

A lot of people give up at this stage. The important thing is to try and understand where you went wrong and do it differently the next time.

What product were you promoting? What method did you use? Where you tracking your results? What conversion rate did you get? Do you have your own website? If you can answer these questions someone will probably be able to give you an insight into where you went wrong.

    Cheers,
    Suzanne

Like Suzanne stated... persistence and dedication is your best friend. You are not going to see results of your efforts for at least a month or so. Start writing articles and send the traffic to a review page.

Write an article or two a day... and by the end of the month you will be pleasantly surprised on how many sales you got!

When you are new you definitely have to be willing to work really hard at the beginning. I would keep up on the forums and read all you can. And if you find something you aren't sure about do a search first and then post about it if you can't find what you are looking for.

Bum marketing would be a great place to start though.

Stay away form PPC at the beginning... your bank account will get demolished if you are not familiar with IM. Additionally, do not promote a product in the "make money" niche.

Your best bet is to pick a sub-niche of a prominent niche, do some keyword research, and set up a blog. Visit clickbank.com and ezinearticles.com and see what people are selling and reading.

Article marketing might take awhile to get results, but it does not cost you anything but your time. Not to mention you get a greater understanding of how to tweak your landing/squeeze page without losing money.

    Just my thoughts...

Well, without an ad budget you're pretty much gonna have to go the Bum marketing or SEO route. You may want to have a look at The Conduit Method.

It is a great method of generating income pretty quickly and don't need to be a great writer either. The other thing good about it, is once you generate some revenue you can roll it over and promote the same page using PPC, PPV, etc.

For the money I would say go with that and then get into article marketing when you have a budget to pay someone to write and submit the articles for you. Gotta have that Leverage!

My 2 cents would be, whatever you choose to do...run with it! Don't jump in 10 different directions at once. Focus on 1 thing, get it up running and kicking ass...then move on.

    Good Luck to You!

      Hey Saevar,

That's a good question and the answer is not the same for everyone.

You can use various methods to determine which niche to start in, but the basic premise is that, in order to make money, you need to be able to:

•• Find a market with a definite need or problem that is large enough and within your ability to access it and convert prospects into buyers. In other words, make sure that the potential for your desired revenue exists.

•• Have enough information with which to create the required product in the necessary format, and be able to get an effective sales message in front of the target market.
Let's continue with our scenario: You're new to marketing, have no product and haven't chosen the niche to focus on yet.

This is the default starting place for almost anyone starting to get interested in Internet marketing or making a supplemental income online.

There are two ways to approach things from this position:

Is there an obvious skill/talent that you or someone accessible to you has?

This means that either you or someone you know has something that they're obviously above average at, which you could focus your attention on and do some research about.

This is where a lot of people fall down - you don't have to be the one with the expertise.

For example, if you have a friend who is a karate instructor, you could speak to them about what aspiring black belts are interested in. Having got an idea about what aspiring black belts want to know, you could see if he or she also knows other experts that you could talk to.

You could easily find that you have access to a network of experts that are all happy to talk to you about their skills and knowledge.

In this situation, the outcome of your discussions would identify the consumer need and show you how it could be provided.

There's a good chance you could end up creating an entire product funnel complete with: free report (list builder), cheap info product, audio and video interviews with experts, membership site with monthly karate information and interviews, and even onto a karate workshop or seminar.

Since the experts in the niche can give you access to all of the information you need, and also the distribution afterwards (they can all be affiliates who get a commission for sending people to your site), you don't need any niche-specific expertise to get great results.

Keep focussed and take one step at a time .... I promise that it is well worth it. Article Marketing is a great way to get traffic to your sites over the longer term and if you have any questions simply ask on the forum. Good luck

    Falkinn,

Totally agree with what has been said here ... focus on bum marketing, in particular learn SEO - it will help you with both free and PPC traffic eventually.

Set up your own pages, don't just redirect to the publishers page - the other 4 ads on that page are already going straight to the publishers page, so offer the person who clicks on your ad something different that hooks them in.

Most of all, give it time ... you won't be a millionaire every night ... if that is what you're expecting, you are in the wrong game. But if you keep working at it you will slowly but surely increase sales.

      Saevar,
What I have found is that being successful online is about doing the same basic things over and over again, consistently.

Get your own site setup after choosing a niche and start blogging on your niche topic. That's a start.

Affiliate marketing is probably the best place for any newcomer unless you already own your own product.

I was really excited when I saw your post, but when I read it... I lost that excitement man...

All I know is that every successful person I have seen in IM (me included) has never said anything like

" I have been trying for a few weeks, but I didnt make money... everyone pull me up?"

Rethink what you are doing and why you are doing it... People who join it to "be the next millionaire in 2 days" never make it. 1.5 days into it they decide that they cant possibly make a million in half a day and reach their goal... so they drop it.

Hey Amigo Welcome to the game. Whatever you do don't get caught up in all the hype and claims that you are going to make some fast money without doing any work. Internet Marketing is a business and you have to treat it as such it requires a certain amount of investment in your education as well as a good system and some experience. You will have nobody to motivate you but beleive me the first time you cash a fat commision check that will be enough motivation to keep you going. You most likely will not make any money to begin with until you have mastered some fundamental skills. Don't Give UP! You are in the right place just keep leaning forward
    Good Luck

Hey man. No matter what anyone tells you, it's going to be a challenge.

It is SUPER RARE for someone to come in the IM game and take over and make bank.

It's all about knowledge and putting it into action.

Think you can do it? ;-)

    I think so...
