Facebook commenting system - Good idea?

Been contemplating about using Facebook's commenting system for my site instead of the one I have in now. Do you think this will help in traffic gain? The only thing is, I don't want to depend on Facebook because everyone may not have Facebook and they might change the code or ban and then I would lose all the comments I accumulated.

Hmmmm? Advice please!

    I think it's good. Visitors won't have to create a new account on every website again and again. And when they are still logged in to facebook, they could place a comment right away! And it displays pictures of them as well, which is better than those empty wordpress avatars.

      Facebook commenting is a GREAT idea ... 92% of social network users are on facebook. Social network users are more inclined to engage and interact on a blog as well.

      Also with just a line of javascript you can enable several other commenting systems right on the facebook dialog. Including yahoo, aol, and more. Let me know if you need help. (send pm)
