Free Software to make Videos

Hello,
I want to know the names of free software which can make nice professional videos with nice text and transition effects. I started learning Adobe AE but it has a huge learning curve and will take time.

Thnx

    Hi there

I have used Windows Movie Maker and Studio Cam for screen recordings. Studio Cam is free and I think the Windows Movie Maker is standard with Windows.

Yes. Use Windows Movie Maker. You can save the projects, input images, make some simple transitions, add captions and audio. Overall, it is free and decent for simple videos.

I have something that's not free, but it's quite cheap. Animoto, I think, is $40 a month or $20 a month if you pre-pay for a year.

It's also incredibly easy to use with practically no learning curve.

Like the others above who said they use Widows Movie Maker, it's pretty easy to use and free.

If you have a PC you probably already have Windows Movie Maker or Windows Live Movie Maker (for Windows Vista and Windows 7).
