When I first heard this song, I was totally blown away with how many layers there are to it...

Recently, it occurred to me the exact same metaphor applies to internet marketers who're still struggling... either from their own gullibility or they can't accept the fact that their success will NOT be handed to them in ANY product out there.

I know everyone's got their 2c about why people make it and some don't, but I thought this would be a more fun way to put it


He just sits, and watches the people in the boxes

    I like Lupe's music too, and all of his AOL sessions songs are amazing (kick, push is phenomenal) but I don't get what analogy you're trying to make at all. Also the lyrics have nothing to do with "success not being handed to you" or anything along those lines...

    Are you sure that doesn't ring a bell lol?

    Sounds to me like someone who still struggles to make money online... instead of building a business, they listen to what "the box" is telling them instead of trail blazing and just getting on with it

      That's crazy! I wish I knew someone famous lol. The closest I've come is saying "sup" and having a 2 minute conversation with "Dizzee Rascal" while the Big Day Out tour was on a few years back (all the guests were staying at the hotel I worked at). Ansar
