Upload the pdf to your site - and create a link in your webpage to the pdf.

Make sure your link has the pdf name and extension.

Exactly the same way you would do for another webpage.

Do you just want to give away the report, or do you want to collect names and email addresses in exchange for the report?

I would guess as the OP mentions a squeeze page then they want to collect names and email addresses.

In which case there are a couple of ways I've used:
Setting up the autoresponder to send out a link to download the ebook.
Signup success page has the link to download the ebook on it.

Also make sure the ebook has lots of links back to your site and/or products (affiliate or otherwise) so that you get some viral traffic from it when it's passed around without people signing up for it (which will happen - but that's actually a good thing...)

In fact, I encourage you to do both! The success page should have a download link and the first autoresponder should also have the download link. That way people will be sure to get it and will be able to find it again in the future.

Plus, since you are GIVING it away, you can send another autoresponder a few days later with a message like..."If you enjoyed this share it with a friend! Forward them this think...

You can just upload the PDF via FTP.

Then set up an opt in or whatever you plan to do and then at the completion of the offer, send the customer to the URL where the PDF is uploaded.

The download will automatically start once they are there.

As others said, upload it via FTP and then link to where you've uploaded it.

When others click on it, it'll open the PDF in their browser, and they can save it. Or they can right click and download the pdf.

So you have a viral ebook that you want passed around. That's cool, but don't think of the list building as an afterthought, it's the most important part of your business as your list is an asset you can leverage again and again.

I'd recommend putting the pdf in a zip and linking to it from your 'thanks for subscribing' page. Don't forget to offer an upsell on it...if you don't have your own product to promote, try offering a discount coupon to a related product you promote as an affiliate.

Send the link to the page again in your the 1st autoresponder message - as the previous poster mentioned.
