Good Problem - Too Much Time

I am at a point where I got more man power then I need (for a short while), so what would you do if you had more man power (time) then stuff to do?

Letting someone go is not a option. I wont fire someone because we dont have work for a short time.

Cheers

I'd say make a new project and pick someone you trust to lead it up that isn't doing any other work at the moment.

How is this a good problem?

A good problem is having too many customers and not enough workers. How do you know it will only be a short amount of time?

Seems like a strange question if you have had employees before you probably had slow times. I don't know maybe have them wash your car?

BTW are you hiring lol j/k

Could you pick up some jobs on eLance for them to do?

Or plan out your marketing calendar for the next 12 months. Have them start working on some of these projects in advance. Prepare now for Christmas, new years, next summer, etc.

I'm sure you can find -something- for them to do. Even busy work like building backlinks or something would be productive.

why don't you start a new internet business venture? There are plenty of opportunities online. You can just pick up a theme, get few hundred or thousand keywords, setup a link structure, silo for your new site, research or create few products and hand over your team your list of keywords for them to crank out content and articles and submit them all around at massive speed.

In next few months you can have thousands of links pouring to your site, good rankings and probably have your own online business setup in no time flat...

I'm not sure what type of business you have, but creating back links to your website is always a good idea: have someone spend time submitting your sites to directories, etc. Have them set up facebook pages and twitter accounts for your company. Hope this helps!

    Wow....thanks for the great suggestions.

I am having programmers update one of our websites, so once that is ready, the person will be pushing heavily on marketing it. So hence have time now.

Off to setting up some work for them
