Getting with the HOT Girls Is Like Outsourcing

What do you think??

Outsourcing is like talking to the Hot girl with social proof at the party first.

Go after the ones that look good with top ratings before the ones that have no credibility.

I fiend you get better outcomes in the end.

This is just my experience.
Do you have the same outcome as I do?

I use fiverr and elance and its been a long road. I definitely now when im searching for a new provider will use one with lots of feedback if possible. I also from time to time will select a really hungry, go getter and give him a test usually at no cost with the promise that I will use him if the work is good and things are done in a timely manner and I have found some good talent that way as well. Over the years I have stuck with the same small teams and thankfully they are working out well.

I have tried Odesk and it's okay too...I agree that it is very important to go over reviews and feedback as well to determine how good a certain outsourcing company is.

Odesk is my personal favorite! Feedback is huge, but also make sure you check out how many hours the actually contractor was billed for their services.

But I love your analogy! Id say outsourcing is more similar to online dating! Its hit and miss :p

So a girl with "no credibility" is a bad thing, while girls with a long list of "credibility" is a good thing.

Here is the problem with Odesk.... form my experiences anyway.

Qualified applicants rarely bid on fixed price jobs, and when you hire hourly they know as long as they are logged in to the odesk time tracking and "look" busy, they can draw a 30 minute job out for three hours. You are then forced to pay the overage because odesk does not guarantee the quality or speed of the work. They only discount the hours if you can prove through the screen shots that they were not actually working.

So, you over pay in two ways at odesk. First is by paying for wasted time, second is I have found that the price per hour is about 3x or more higher than if you outsource directly.

        Hi,

What I do is work with a budget. I tell them what I expect and how much I can afford to pay for that. How long would it take you to do it? Can you spend your time on more valuable things?

I look for weekly reports and if they are not up to speed of my expectations or their work does not correlate to any results for me, Ill move on to someone else.

Outsourcing also becomes a chore if you dont manage it well. Ideally, you want the person to be trained in all manners of your business except monetisation. I wouldn't worry about them "stealing your niche", thier "niche" is helping you.

        Good luck

Hmmm...Well...I do agree that how you treat your service provider/hot girl will help determine whether it's a long-term relationship or a one night stand.

I think it's a poor analogy; not least because:

      a) Many marketers are female (duh!).

      b) Outsourcing is a business decision and shouldn't be based on a superficial attraction.

      c) Outsourced workers generally don't look better after nine beers, three vodka and somethings and whatever was lurking in the bottom of that exotic-looking wine bottle.
