Tips on branching out my FB Competition
Hi all, I did a bit of a search before posting this and couldn't find anything, but it's a reasonably specific question.
I'm about to start a 'competition' or 'giveaway' on Facebook. After seeing the huge success and per-second sign-up rates of other competitions, it's motivated me to do things this way.
Essentially I'd create an event and have three requirements - like X page, follow X page, and register HERE or something. And, share with friends.
My question, which is also my problem, is this - I live in Australia and I want to target elsewhere, particularly the US. My Facebook friends comprise of 70% to 80% Australians, so it will be slow and possibly unlikely that this event will reach the US. Does anyone have any tips on how to boost the reception?
Would offering WF members $5 instantly in their PayPal for sharing the event to all their FB friends be worthwhile? That's just one idea I came up with.
