Why Aren't People Taking My Offer?

I'm really confused (and frustated) as to why none of the traffic I'm sending to my offer is converting. All the traffic I'm sending is either via PPC (targeting keywords such as learn spanish, speak spanish etc.) via my videos, which are to do with learning Spanish and article marketing as well.

I've even gone to Yahoo Answers, found some people asking about deciding what Spanish learning software they wanted to get and just told them about my offer. I wasn't too salesy, I tried to be as informative and helpful as possible. And still, no conversion.

Could someone explain to me what I'm doing wrong? Is the offer too good to be true that people are too skeptical to buy the software (would this mean taking away some bonuses in order for it to convert)? Do I have to get lead info first so that I can sell this to them later down the track (build a relationship)?

I really really don't know :S

The offer page is in the signature (Learn Spanish).

While unlikely, could it be a case of affiliate scrubbing?

Make a video of it cause I don't exactly know what I'll be getting when I buy that product.

That is a very competitive niche, you really would need a big PPC budget and have a very nice sales copy.

If using PPC, the campaign might be wrong...

You need to change your buy it now link to an image thats more noticeable because I didn't notice it...And yeh dude - you should send them to a squeeze page, build a list & relationship and then offer them your product...

Maybe when they optin for the squeeze page, offer your course at a lower price - as a One Time Offer

I scanned the page and it looked like a million other affiliate blogs to me - people are getting numb to the "review" blogs. You have to capture them in the first couple of seconds. That is why people use BOLD HEADLINES. A lot of people here say they hate them, but they work. You need to make a bold promise in the headline, and pay it off in the lead, etc... you're headline pitch is not how great the product is... your headline pitch is just to get them to read the sales letter.

    Sample headline:

Everything you have been told is WRONG! It is actually EASIER for Adults to learn a language than KIDS...

In this very report you will learn a SECRET method that makes learning spanish fast and easy - Especially if you're XYZ...

You get the idea... bottom line is that you have got to get them to READ the letter. That is your first job.

I think your sales page is only going to work on people who are already pre-sold on the idea that paying for the software is the best way for them to learn Spanish. They already know there's a lot to learn, and it's going to take time, and they believe that software will work better for them than classroom training, or studying language books, or personal tutoring, or immersion, or all the free course material available online.

People who are already pre-sold probably aren't searching for simple phrases like "learn Spanish". Maybe something more like "best learn spanish software". Search volumes for the keywords that would convert on your site might not be very high.

Your page doesn't do the pre-selling that "learn spanish" searchers will require to convert. Maybe your articles do, that lead them to this page? But I still don't see the conversion path for this product being read one article about the benefits of language software --> be convinced to buy a product.

You might do better guiding your visitors to a landing page leading to lots more content on the process of learning Spanish, and how there is so much to learn, and different methods of learning, and why software is a good cost-effective method, etc. You could have such content on your site, or feed it to them on a mailing list, all the while keeping the product you're promoting in their face.

...I also think your font is too small. I could not make myself read your content; I was only willing to glance at it.

    Hi

I think send them to a squeeze page and grab their email. It's easy to offer something free for language training but you want to include an email series like "Ten Lessons on Spanish you can speak right now", or "Spanish slang you'll never dare speak out loud". Something that makes them curious to Opt-In and stay for the series.

Make them entertaining and useful then market the paid course to the list. After a couple of emails send a sales letter introducing the full course. Do this a few times over the span of the series, both hard-sell and soft-sell. This is a much easier way to sell something like language learning.

It is not a market of desperate buyers.

It's not like if they don't "buy in the next 20 seconds" they will miss the opportunity to learn Spanish. And Spanish isn't getting saturated or dropping 6 figures a day into their PayPal account on autopilot...
