Congrat! I think took me a week to get my first sale. After first sale, I got 1-2 sales/ day . After 1-2 sales a day I had some testimonials and got 1-3 sales a day!

The first gig is always the trickiest to land, but keep building up your reputation and you'll have to start turning off your gigs from the floor of orders that'll come in!

The Fiverr mods choose featured gigs.

Generally, they'll choose gigs that perform well, stay within the Terms of Service, and are 'unique" (they don't want to feature 20 of the exact same gigs, do they?)

I've had a gig featured. It's a guess - but I believe they choose it because of the high number of positive reviews, the quick delivery, and the fact that it was a unique twist on a common gig.

Good job, it usualy takes hard work to do the firts sale, but don't think your sales will come just because of one or two good reviews.

I have a few gigs posted on fiverr and i average 1-2 sales per day, but keep in mind i don't promote my gigs off fiverr like many do to get more traffic and sales.

It's difficult in getting off the ground with fiverr, but once you get a few sales and hopefully positive feedback you can start to build your micro business and remember the following.

1. Only advertize work that you're capable of doing
2. Any task should take you 1/2 hour or less
3. Use the keywords effectively for each gig
4. Capitalize one of your words in your title

Once you get a steady flow of orders you'll be able to choose which jobs look straightforward and refuse the one's which look like they may cause you problems.
