Oh dear, just can't decide on a new blog+ CB product!

Oh dear, hope you guys will give me some food for thoughts!

I have been trawling the net, CB, niches, potential niches...paying attention to everything along the way. For example as far as CB is concerned I avoid "leaky" pages, then I want to promote something that brings more than 30 bucks and I JUST CAN'T DECIDE!!!! Stuck, stuck, stuck!!

Anyone been in this situation before? I mean I could pick sth and "try it out" but there again, I like to take " calculated risks" so to speak! The real dilemna is finding a product that has low gravity, no leaks, no BIG FAT RED HEADLINES, and that appears relatively serious!

Oh, it is just one of these days, tomorrow is another day....

Any thoughts, very welcome!

Have a gread day!

Yoan

My advise to you is widen your approach. Don't just see one or 2 products with low gravity and just promote that one product. You will have a hard time.

Rather think BIG. Start in a niche that you love. Then pick up 10 good high quality products in that niche. Now setup your list building system, setup follow up emails with good content to sell these 10 products.

Now drive traffic. Even if you drive paid traffic you will not lose money because you have 10 products down the line and you will not only break even with your first 2 to 3 products but make money from all other products at the backend. All this will happen considering you have tested out things properly. So think BIG, don't hunt for quick bucks rather build a serious online business...

"Anyone been in this situation before?"

Only just started trying my hand at Internet marketing and list building a month ago, so Yeah i understand your situation hahahaha lol I'm completely new.

I got into Internet Marketing through looking at make money online opportunities, although this is very competitive, since getting into this niche, i am learning and getting more and more hooked, so I am going to give this niche a go. Brave i know, but i LOVE A CHALLENGE.

Maybe try your hand at commission junction, amazon CPA offers.

It is much easier to blog if you care about the topic . If you are interested in it , in the first place . The words will come when you write articles for your blog . It has been running through your mind anyway so I guess it is a question of asking yourself what topic are you naturally passionate about and then blog about it

Find new friends who are already blogging , interview gurus in your niche and promote some amazing products that would genuinely help some people

It is, indeed. But still, for some of us the art is to find and promote the other products out of the 14,000+ there, which in my experience tend - overall - to convert considerably better because their sales pages are typically less hypey and their vendors either know what they're doing (and have sometimes even employed a copywriter rather than someone pretending to be one), or have at least done some split-testing of their own, rather than relying on "perceived wisdom" (which is so often mistaken).

Now that you have a group of products pick the one that interests you the most. You are going to start a blog (from what I understand) so you need something that interests you in the long run. Furthermore, ideally you will be creating you own product eventually because that's where the real money is.

    Hi Yoan

I always check the affiliate tools available. Merchants offering good affiliate tools and what looks like a good sales page are always top of my list. You can learn a lot about a market you initially know little about if the merchant offers good affiliate tools.

Also, look for any leaks from the sales page. You don't want the visitor distracted and buying something for which you get no commission.

Also make sure the buy button actually links to a clickbank payment page...I've found a few that don't!

    Cheers

I suggest you settle on a niche, then refine your focus to target a segment of that broader market. Aim your blog squarely at a certain type of buyer, then find affiliate products which your market wants to buy. Once you know who you're going to be attracting with your blog, you'll know how and what to write to build trust and rapport. A loyal reader is far easier to sell to than any random web surfer.
