Help Wanted To Turn Skype Recording Into MP3

Hi folks

As well as creating an ebook of course I intend to create an audio of an interview I will be carrying out soon using Skype.

I need to know the best and easiest way to turn my skype chat into mp3 format or maybe any other stand alone format you prefer?

I have been using Pamela to record some test chats so far but this does not seem to be able to change the chat into mp3 so do I need to use adifferent software for my recording?

What format does Pamela save the recording in?

I may be able to help you as I have many audio and video converters on my system.

Hey Ricky,

I just did a quick search and it says Pamela can save the recording in MP3 format!
Pamela Call Recorder | Extras - Skype

If you haven't done the recordings yet, I can recommend MP3 Skype Recorder. I have used it for a couple of years now.

I second this. I've been using it, too, recorded 1 and 2 hour mastermind calls, interviews that were transformed into videos, etc. It's straight MP3 format and very easy to use.

You can set Pamela to MP3 output by selecting:

Pamela | Tools | Options | Advanced | Sound | Recording Format

Just google mp3 converter and you will see loads of free ones to download.I had the same problem by the way and did this.
