Is there a way to put payment fields right on your html or wordpress page?

Guys - of course there are numerous solutions where you have a button on your sales page that takes the customer to one of many payment options - PayPal, a shopping cart etc.

But we also know that the fewer clicks a customer has to make the better, and having closing copy right above the payment fields also helps massively.

My question is this. Can I EASILY (no coding) get credit card fields for the customer to fill out right onto my sales page?

When I've done this in the past, I've hired a programmer. My question is whether there's a solution which doesn't require coding. Maybe a wordpress plugin that makes it easy to integrate with Authorize.net, or better still with PayPal API?

Anyone know if this exists?

Hey Fruzzlies thanks - but that just puts a PayPal button on my page. That's not what I was talking about. I'm talking about getting the credit card fields for the customer to enter their details into right onto my page, not a button.

    Thanks though!

I did a research on the same a few months ago and couldn't find a plugin or something to ease the process. I had to code it myself.

I don't know if anything new has come up since then and now. However, I do remember plugins like WP-Invoice which allow paypal API or Authorize.net integration and let your customers enter the credit card details on your site. It didn't fit my requirements, but might fit for you. Check that out..

You would want that page to be secure (https) or take the chance of being put upon by the credit card companies and the legalities for sending such data as plain text. A dangerous practice that you would most likely be liable for if a hacker decided to monitor your site.

Do you currently have a merchant account? There are some APIs that wouldn't be too hard to set up and use a standard form that you could use in your copy.

Thanks IM Queen - that WP-Invoice is interesting, gret in fact, but again it doesn't suit my needs either. THanks for helping confirm there's nothing out there...

Thanks Ken - yup https of course. I have that on my hosting account, so I'm guessing there's no prob having my Worpress page with the fields in as a https url? Currently I use PayPal API with PayPal Website Payments Pro, rather than a full blown merchant account.

Thanks for the info - any other ideas other than WP-Invoice?
