Steal My Ideas!
Hey Warriors,
I started a thread a little while back with the blueprint for an idea I didn't have the time to pursue.
I seem to get a lot of these ideas and after putting a lot of thought into planning and researching, I realise that it's too big a job for me to take on at the moment.
The sad thing is, I usually forget about these ideas and let them drift off into nothing.
So, when I have a 'great' idea that I can't pursue, instead of just letting it dissapear I'll post it here for anybody who's interested.
Idea #1
Amazon Affiliate Gift Shop
There are millions of review blogs out there, why doesn't someone switch things up a little? Break the mould!
How about a 'gift finder' website. You select a few details like 'gender, occasion, keywords etc' and then a list of relevant gifts is displayed.
This list of gifts is pulled from amazon (using amazon API). If the user clicks 'more info' or 'buy now' they are taken straight to the product on amazon using your affiliate code.
I got a qoute of $500 for this to be created.
Instead of just using it yourself, maybe you could sell the website template and code as a WSO?
If anybody does end up doing this and making a fortune, you owe me a beer.
