why so many people on the wso section?

I'm always surprised by the amount of people on the wso section, at the moment in over 5300!

Are most of these window shoppers, or just people looking for review copies... or are they buying, if so... does anyone know % which are?

I really believe the real money is teaching in this game, something I aspire to do someday.

    Keep in mind lots of people e-mail their WSO thread directly to their list. A good chunk of the people who appear to be browsing forum are actually just on a single WSO that was sent to a large list or lists.

    I don't think the number is real time. I think its the total over a couple an hours.

      I'm pretty sure it's over a whole day. This is an unbelievable number of visitors for such a short time; even for the Warrior Forum.

      I've at times wondered how many folks have just left their browser on that section when they went to bed for the night, but I guess my night is day somewhere...

      Let me ask you thedog, how often do you pop in there to see what's happening?

        Not very often... I'd imagine around 5% of my time spent on here.

        When I was a fledgling warrior, it would have been around 40%... but I have bought enough wso's and have learned one of the most important lessons... "stop buying 5hit and just do 5hit"

        I have a plan that I'm sticking to... I kind of see the wso section like a pub to an alocholic or a casio to a gambling addict... there's way too many distractions in there.

        But as sbucciarel put it... people will always want a magic bullet

      Suzanne is absolutely correct. The WSO forum is well known for good stuff at very low prices. And everyone is looking for the make a million overnight with out any work type stuff. And they get listed in Google just about every time I think.

      I don't spend a lot of time in the WSO forum, unless I see a sig that calls out to me. But I do not turn my computer off and if that was the last thread I was in, then it will look like I spent hours in there. It is not uncommon for me to have two or three Warrior Forum pages open on my computer at any one time. I don't know how many others are like me, but that could be one reason.

      It's a disease spreading through the community. People think buying WSOs is the solution to their inability to make money online.

      When I joined the WF a few years back, there would always be more people in the main forum than in the WSO section.

      I just checked now and there are...

      949 viewers in the Main Internet Marketing Discussion Forum
      4153 viewers in the Warrior Special Offers Forum

      Over the last couple of hours/days or whatever.

        To be honest: Thats exactly me. I mean, i try a lot of things, and try to learn, but always also looking for WSOs which maybe can help me a bit.

        I bought already some of the WSOs before i knew this forum (shame on me)

        So spent my start here also the most time in the WSO section, and i work my way now into the other sections also to learn now more.

    It's simple. For the uneducated there are two choices: browse the WSO section where dreams are sold, or actually go to a relevant section to learn a skill that will actually help make money. Obviously, they flock to what seems to be the easier solution.

    At the same time though, there are seasoned marketers and smart newbies who are in there finding tools to better their business or scoping out the competition.

    Oh, and as mentioned before, emails about WSO's always provide a spike.

      Because many of the prices are far too low for the potential value available there, and far too many Warriors have collectively trained the market to buy only low-priced stuff.

      There are thousands of people there (sometimes) but most of them think $17 is "really expensive". The phrase "We did it to ourselves" comes to mind.

    I recently got back into the WF after being away for years. I actually forgot that I created an account. I think the WSO section is addictive. There's a lot of good stuff in there.

    As soon as I got back into this, I learned about a method I hadn't heard of and purchased 3 e-books on the topic (took me that many to get the full picture as none of them told the whole story) and will be implementing it next month.

    I've been off the forum for almost and year and since I've come back, I can see a huge spike in the numbers on the WSO thread. I don't think, even just a year ago, I ever saw over 5000 on the thread.

    I have to admit, I'm one of those Dreamers.

    And I can tell you that I'm on a lot of list, and I'm always getting hit up to check out this WSO or that WSO. And of course a lot of the people that I receive mailing from are pushing the same WSOs, so I and I'm sure a lot of people are going to the same WSOs more than once.

    As far as buying goes. I find that although I may see a lot of WSOs, I only Buy certain ones. And that's even after receiving a strong recommendation from the mailer. If it doesn't fit into what I'm doing, Usually I will let it pass.

    Of course there is always that rare case when something is so good and innovative, that I just have to pull the trigger. Like in the case of; Fuad Tolieb', with his "Social Purchase Profits", script. Call me a Sucker, but I just Knew that it was something Special.

    People love to chase the latest and greatest "get rich quick" strategy, instead of actually buckling down and putting in some real work.

    There are definitely some good WSO's. Don't get me wrong. But most people love dreaming. But when it comes to work, I'd say 5-10% follow through. (I know from personal experience. I was the same way for the first few years of my IM career.)

      A big influence in this is the fact that "WSO" is becoming almost a generic term on the web at large. If you Google WSO, you'll find many references from sites other than WF, so the chances are that people looking for MMO are finding links to WSOs before they know about the Main IM Discussion Forum.
