CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?

I've been involved with internet marketing since the first part of 2011, putting up an actual e-commerce site. But let me make a long story short....

I am so frustrated. I get 100 emails per day of people making $10K per day doing all sorts of things, but I don't know where to start. It seems like everyone is advertising their program as the "only way to go" and that it will "immediately" put money in your bank account. Then get on the other side of the PayPal page and you find your were sold a load of crap.

What is they key? How do you big and little guys succeed at getting online sales. Is it blogging, is it landing pages with affiliate links. It's like I'm going into Home Depot to buy a light bulb, but there are 100,000 different brands, types, sizes, etc.

So far I have spent $19,000 on internet marketing materials advise coaching and have followed it down to the letter and I have yet to make my $1K per day.

What's the Golden Ticket?

$19k? ... why?. The Golden Ticket is learning from your own mistakes and following through with the system. The reason why most people fail is simply because they don't follow through with what was given or bought. They buy into one program then get distracted by another, not finishing or even start what they was meant to do. And as the old saying goes, "If it looks too good to be true then it is ...". And the reason why some people make thousands or even tens of thousands a month is because they set out a plan. They build a foundation first then work themselves up. They don't get rich overnight. If you're willing to work hard then you will be rewarded well.

Do your research before spending any amount of money. Get to know people and what they do. Learn from those who has been there and not from those who will be there someday. My advice is simply, stop spending money and learn first. Read through the forum and you'll find yourself with great knowledge. It's free.

If you are on someones list who is bombarding you with emails full of crap offers, get off their list.

There are a lot of great marketers right here and they are giving away great advice for free, I am here every day reading what they have to say and my advice is do the same. You would be amazed at how much you will learn right here in this great forum, for free.

    Good Luck to you

What do you know? Your story is very similar to mine except that I finally began to make a full time income since only 2 years ago. That's when I started IM full time selling services and doing SEO for other people. During 11 years of doing IM, so many people including my own wife and my parents told me to get a "real" job. But I knew I was going to make it one day. I'm so glad I didn't quit.

19k? ... Double why? Dig into this forum, you'll find just about everything you found in your 19k worth of products and probably more.

You're a member of the War Room, there's a treasure trove. Most important in my mind, is get to know people on here... be friendly... help others, it WILL come back to you. One good relationship might give you the knowledge or boost to kick in your first 1k day.

Absorb all you can and you will make your own path. Please don't get hung up with chasing 1k days and forget that enough 10-50-100 dollar days will probably become 1k days eventually.

Keep your chin up, and forget about chasing someone else's "reality" which might just be a pile of nothing.

There is no golden bullet ok ,I would go to the make money sub forum here on the forum and see what free reports or programs there are ,also if you have bought so much and a lot of marketers do why do you not just stick to one method and find out all you can about it.Start to make money and write down how you did it and then sell the program to others

That 19k you spent on products, think about that. Those people you paid are making money from selling their own products, not from the system they are selling.

Create your own high quality products, and get affiliates to promote them.

You've become a victim of your own naivity.

On the internet people can be whoever they want and say whatever they want. They can hide their real name, cloak their domain registration details and put up a website saying they're a hugely successful big company - and you couldn't tell.

Many people are desperate to get your money (as desperate and moreso that you currently are to get other peoples) and will do/say whatever they think you want to hear.

Unfortunately in IM that's easy because they know you want to hear that they're easily making $10k a day and have a simple system for you to copy them at a great price.

Part of the recent financial crisis catalyst was from people being sold mortgages that they couldn't afford. Many of those people knew they couldn't afford it but when someone said "hey you thought you couldn't afford it - well we've worked out a way where you can have a bigger house right now!". So, while many of them were lied to and BS'd even a lot of 'sensible' people borrowed money they couldn't pay back - because they wanted to believe the BS. They knew it probably wasn't true but let themselves get lied to in order to try and cut across the truth that they didn't really have the resources.

Many people kid themselves that getting rich is quick and easy and despite working hard for years are always looking for the magic bullet that will cut out the hard work and time required - they are hot targets for BS and lies.

Despite the masses of messages telling you how easy it is - you KNOW that's not true.

Even when it IS easy - that's because of a lot of hard work.

Take some of these 'overnight' pop stars. If you actually look into their history - they worked for 10, 20 or 30 years before they suddenly made it overnight.

Look at these Million Dollar day launches - if you saw what went on behind the scenes you would know that it's not quite what you are shown. Sometimes they paid most of it back to affiliates, sometimes the sales were false or even staged (given people money to go buy the product - like you giving your friends money to buy your own book to increase sales).

I've met a LOT of IMers personally and even the big guys are often up all night working on their talk for a seminar and working their nuts of to make sure that their 90 minutes in the spotlight pays off fully.

If you think "oh, poor me. Everyone else is making massive money and I'm the only one who doesn't get-it" then you're kidding yourself into failure based on false expectations.

Stop worrying about what others are doing - it's mostly BS.

Just look at your own plan. Sanity check it. Work your heart out. Test as much as you can. Always be looking at how to do things better and what else you could be doing.

You can actually make a full time income with just about any online business if you're fully commited to making it happen and not expecting to buy a few ebooks and then outsource everything and sit back waiting for the money.

Remember - it's your life. You may only have it once. There's no time like the present and only YOU are responsible for your results. You need to make sure you can make your plan reach your goals on your own - anything anyone else does to help is just icing on the cake.

Stop the pity party and get on with working your plan. Who cares what other people are doing. Give yourself some credit for what YOU are doing.

Whoah! $19K? That's a lot of money to spend on something you get for free. I was in your shoes once, also got confused where to start with IM. But I spent zero amount on information about SEO and stuff to succeed in IM. I just spent hours reading forum posts, especially here. Just pay close attention.

Not really. I've been at IM seminars and seen people lining up to pay $10k for one weekend of coaching.

I'd say forget about the "golden ticket" approach.

There are many different ways to make an income with Internet marketing methods but you need to realise that they are really a lot of different business models.

So the first step is to decide exactly what it is you are going to do and not just "Internet marketing."

It isn't just about selling info products either, that is one method or business model and different to having an e-commerce site.

If you think your site is okay, and it doesn't need to be perfect by any means, then maybe you just need to concentrate on getting visitors to it, but even then you need to focus in on how you intend to do that.

What if you'd spent $19k on paid traffic, advertising, seo, or all of those and more?

Hope you get things worked out and get to those 1k days soon,

    Neil

Damn, that's a lot of money. One of the most difficult things about making money online is that there just is one way. There are lots of legit ways to make money online. Even still, once you learn a legit method, everyone has their own little tweaks they make to stuff (if there's something they don't feel like doing or don't like, for instance).

I've being doing diff. forms of IM since late 2007 (mostly as a hobby) and haven't made my first $1k day, either. I know people who make six figures a year that have never done that--although some have gotten close. I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Making money online is about finding a legitimate method that fits your personality and you find somewhat enjoyable and finding a legitimate product to learn how to do it. Then, you just work the program until it works for you. Here are a few examples of legitimate ways to make money online.

    1. Sell your own product (can be physical or digital, which I'm sure you're aware of). With a digital product, there is lower overhead, and you can build a passive income by having affiliates promote your product for you. There's a saying that goes, "If you can't promote other people's products (referring to affiliate marketing - see below), you probably can't promote your own, either. There are better options for someone new to the game.

2 Sell someone else's product and earn a commission for every sale you make (affiliate marketing). This is most often done by getting ranked in the search engines for things people are looking for and used in conjunction with e-mail marketing so you can promote to people over and over again. The income here is residual,

3 Be a service provider. You can be a ghost writer (do research and write content for other people and get paid per job via Paypal) as well as run specials to generate quick cash. The down side is that you have to deal with deadlines and stuff because you have to work around other people's schedules.

You can open your own Private Label Rights (PLR) store and sell pre-written content for people on a variety of topics that they can modify and use for their personal use. This income is residual because people will mostly find your stuff through search engines, but you can also use an opt-in form to take requests for stuff they want and run specials as well. When you have a PLR store, you can work around your own schedule.

Keep in mind that these are just some of the things you can do to make money online. There are more, but I would be here all day (almost 5 a.m. & still haven't gone to bed -- such a night owl). Focus less on the money and more on finding a method you like a legit program to work. The money will come.

In my opinion, affiliate marketing is a good place to start because you learn a lot of valuable skills you can use in diff. branches of making money online. Plus, like I said earlier, the income is residual.

    Good luck,
    Joey
