Do you make enough to pay the bills and then some? I wish I could make just a little more each month, just needing some motivation.

    Hello stefani,

My goal is to earn more each month, which I am achieving after starting out last October.

I think you just need to keep adding and promoting each and every day.

Do something you haven't done before, this will keep you interested and motivated.

I have only been at IM for a month and a half but am very interested in what you have to say.
I'm trying to be realistic here, I know I'm not going to be making millions right off the bat (lol) but I know its possible to make money so I use that as my drive.
I am a stay a home mom of one.....*fingers crossed another on the way*..I just want to continue to stay home and help contribute with the bills, plus more.

I know everything doesn't happen over night, but I have learned a lot since starting up.

I'm open to new ideas and any tips/advice.

....So to answer the question...As of right now, no I'm not making enough money, but I intent to make a killing

I am making some money, but not nearly what I want to.

I am going to be exploring other ways to make money with what I already have started. I have already gotten some great ideas on this forum!!

I am so excited about how different my life is going to be six months from now!

having those concrete goals really, really helps. It just isn't enough to say "I want to make MORE", you need to be specific, like X amount of dollars, and then keep track of it throughout the week/month. Identify if you need to bump your efforts up a notch.

All i can say to that is a lot of work and never give up on whatever your doing.

At the end you will see the results and when you do--that will be your motivation.

You will work even harder then to do better job.

That is really decent! Kudos. I have been in it for about 9 years making about 300-400 a month. Once I got serious about 5 months ago I am now in the 2k-3k range but don't have the confidence to leave my day job yet. I sure do enjoy the extra income.

I'm still looking for people to share ideas one on one through chats, but not products that is the hardest part about IM.

Do I make enough? LOL, that's a funny question. I'm sure most people would love to have a little more money. Right now I'm in college and I started IM in order to help pay for school. So far I haven't made all that much, but someday I hope to have "enough." My ultimate goal is to not have to work at a full time job, and stay home (although I'd do IM full time).

I'm definitely not making "enough" but I have surpassed my goal of paying for the internet, the car payment, and the other utilities minus heating (since its hard to gauge). My next goal is half the rent which isn't that far off at all and I've barely begun.

Earning more involves giving up something whether that be your time or an increased risk, or even a risk of too much lost time. Continuing to try different strategies is very good. At the same time, sometimes it is good to forget about everything for a week or two, and then come back fresh. Some of my best strategies were created when I wasn't trying hard to make more money, and my mind was relaxed.

Never give up and it will pay in the end,the beginning is hard but after it is easy, not saying that it is easy but compared to a 9-5 job it is.First you must learn how to make money and then actually dive in and grow your business.

Be an expert in one thing and don't get distracted with other things.

Set yourself small goals which you want to achieve, don't set high expetations because you are preparing yourself for failure.

The money should be your motivation and btw i would rather work for my business then someone else's.

It was also hard for me when i started, but now it is a much better situation.

I started making money online when I was about 12... no wonder by the time I turned 18, I moved out, went off to college, and spent almost $200k on tuition and fees for a degree... all paid for by my websites. Now I've graduated and I'm working on a master's degree, in a much nicer apartment than the dorms I initially moved out to, and pay my bills with money saved every month, so yes, enough...

                            committing yourself to it but...

but it does come down to what you know
about the niche you're in and what you have
to invest in it either time or money.

If you don't have the cash you will have to

Guys, with everything that's been said here
the key points is knowing what you want.

Once that is sorted you can go forward to
finding a aholic market, find out what they
want create for them and sell it to them.

            Next rinse and repeat...

This is the overall picture but if you do this
right you could knock out a couple products
a month to feed these aholic markets, now
            that's cash in the bag.

    Hi Stefani,

I think the problem with generating your own income is that there's never really a finish line...a little more would always be better.

Obviously I don't know what it is you're doing, but have you looked into outsourcing things? The extra money you can generate once you free up some of your time can be simply phenomenal.

    Hope that's useful.

This is the big advice I give to everyone: "You must be consistent and have the ambition to succeed."

With those two things you can achieve anything. Set small goals to be able to pay your bills and live in comfort, then create bigger goals to obtain the things you want.

Not enough yet (eg. I would like my wife to be able to quit her job, and it's getting closer every month!), but I'm glad I stuck with it for the past 2 years, through ups and downs, google slaps and what not...

Small goals worked best for me: at first it was just to cover the phone/internet costs; then the electricity bill; then the property rates; the best motivation was when I managed to also cover the monthly home payment, etc

My advice: don't fall around trying a new "make money" method every week, stick with something that you believe will help you achieve a certain goal, and hang in there until it is properly established, then add another stream or method - there are just too many great ways to make money, you can't try them all...

Online, with the right knowledge and application it's quite possible to make obscene amounts. I believe the trick is in constantly learning and applying.

For example, when I first started online about a decade ago, just $150 a month was a good return. That was when I only knew about ebay to make money - as my knowledge and experience grew, I became aware of new methods that brought in cash - residual income (do the work once, get paid forever), the importance of list building, doing ad swaps and JVs with others... it wont happen overnight but when you do find the formula that works for you, the return can make it more than worth the wait.

    Hi Stefani,
When I need motivation I just think of the seed analogy... where the seed is doing all it's growing below ground where you can't see it. Then one day it pops above ground where you can see it and it grows quickly everyday, right before your eyes. Now there is measurable progress, almost unbelievable progress! But first the roots had to grow underground to create a strong foundation.

    Hope that helps.

I've made a full time income off the internet for several years.

Today it's actually easier to make a living than ever.

But you need to be realistic. There will probably be a big learning curve when you're starting out just to get some of the basics down.

And you'll have to work out exactly how you're going to make money.

But if you persist and stay focused you certainly should be able to make good money.

The industry is growing and the opportunities are increasing...especially for people who take the the time to really excel.

      Kindest regards,
