Byethost down. Anyone here know anything?

INTERNET MARKETING

It looks like all of Byethost servers are down. Everything. I have sites on 2 different servers and they are all offline now. Ditto the company's homepage and the support addresses.

I managed to get onto the forum but was unable to post as it keeps timing out.

Just wondered if there was any Byethost employees who are Warriors who could let us know what is happening.

Phew. All seems good again. That one worried me. Off to do back ups...

  It was temporarily down for me earlier but now it is ok..Thank goodness!

Nice to see Byethost back again. But remember that is the
price you have to pay for free hosting if you are on their free
service.

  So what about the people who have paid hosting there and had downtime, too (which I assume they did, given that their own homepage and everything else was apparently also down)?
  
  Most hosts will experience some downtime at some point or other, whether due to individual server or server cluster failures, or network issues. It's just a matter of time. And ByetHost are very good, overall, even compared to other paid hosts who don't offer a free service.
  
  Having said that, it is quite disappointing and concerning to hear that everything was down concurrently - their homepage, support site and all.
  
  You'd expect there to be more redundancy in their setup so that that sort of thing doesn't happen, and customers are still able to contact them via online methods in the event of an outage.
  
  Hope they're back working again soon for all those still experiencing difficulties.

  ByetHost's own website appears to be up and working (whereas last time it apparently wasn't), so you can contact them directly.
  
  Web-hosts (depending on their setup) typically run a lot of independent servers, and any of them can go down individually at any time, causing downtime for customers whose sites are unlucky enough to reside on them.
  
  It's possible - and indeed quite likely - that no-one else here is experiencing the same problems as you, so you're really wasting your time by asking for information here, to be honest.
  
  You need to be going directly to ByetHost for that. And if you can't access their support, then it's surely a routing problem between your ISP and ByetHost (and therefore not for them to resolve) because I can access their site just fine.

Of course i just launched my new video this morning and expected some subscribers coming hahaha nice

i hope it will be back soon though... maybe im just not on the same server as you guys
