Have A Fanpage With 1000+ Fans? How Long Did It Take You To Build?

I have been running some tests on building fans to one of my fanpages. And from what I have heard folks say, that they built their fan base of thousands in under 24 - 48 hours. Can this be true??

My own statistic hasn't come close to this yet? Just your thought.

    I have 2,300 which took around 2-3 months. A really good way of gaining extra likers is to simply comment on other on-topic pages, using your OWN page. People click through and like if they find any information you have useful.

    When facebook had the suggest to friends feature I had my outsourcers make me 100 PVA facebook accounts an invite 5,000 friends in a single day. Then they would go into my group and suggest my group to all friends.

    I have a pretty nice amount of untarfetes people in a group. It works well for ipad CPA offers.

    To ba facebook had taken off the sugggest to friends on memers that are in the group

      I have a little over 1K people on the fanpage and I got them by asking them to like my page after sending them a free download. Worked pretty well, although FB traffic, for me, isn't worth much.
