Quick Question About Some PLR I'm Working On...

Hi guys

I'm working on editing some PLR I recently bought the rights to. I've changed the title of the product, heavily altered the sales page, and have rewritten and added to the content of the book. It's a quality product, but there's something that's bugging me a little.... do I put my own name on it or not? The thing is that the book contains some sales figures that the person who originally wrote the book achieved. There's also a few of their own opinions on things in there. Do you think that it would be ok to put my own name on the product? The book is about making money from blogging. A real high quality product but it's just bugging me a little.

Thanks everyone!

If it is bugging you, why not make it a joint project line - authors tracey hollins and jane doe

just a thought... otherwise, as a rule, read the plr rights and that will identify what you are permitted to do.

I'm new to using PLR myself, but I noticed they all come with a notice of what you can, and can't do with them. I've seen a lot of them that state you can put your name as the author. If your PLR doesn't say anything about it, I would contact the place you got it from just to make sure.

You could put your name on it, but in the part where it references the specific figures, you could re-write it to say something like "here is what one person recently did..." or some sort of thing like that. That way, you are not saying they were your sales. I doubt a reader will notice or care.
