    yes!!

    It amazes me the amount of people who get some scraper - try to come up with a generic comment that applies to any niche blog "I just read your blog and love what you have to say but make sure you use spell check on all your future posts" in the vain hope of getting someone to approve their comments.

    If they bothered to target a handful of suitable blogs - spent the time to ACTUALLY read a blog post or two and make a USEFUL comment on that post they would find they get the precious backlink and actually contribute something useful to the blogosphere - hopefully some of them will learn one day.
