Hey All Warriors,

I've been using this forum for a short while and through out this period I've learnt a hell of a lot. So i thought id give something little back.

There is a free online based tool i've been using for a while to edit images, create product covers, create logos and banners quickly and effectively. You don't have to install anything because its all online, you can import and export images in popular formats though. It has quite a lot of slightly more advanced features too, which is impressive for a web based application. Best of all its all completely free.

Here is the link

Photo editor online / free image editing direct in your browser - Pixlr.com

Hope you find this as useful as I did.

Thank you.

[QUOTE=Vlad Bacioiu;4544509]...Another free graphics soft is Gimp...

      For Your Information:

At last, the version of GIMP 2.7.3 arrived.

The GIMP developers realized: not so good to work with the program, that a lot of our window lie scattered on the desktop. Each component has had separate till now: layers, toolbox, image editing interface itself ...

GIMP was nearly useless, even if other thing was also open next to it, such as a browser, an FTP, or you listen to music. As you know, that was a real pain - until now.

The redemption comes with this 2.7.3 version. It called 'Single Window Mode'.

It means, all component is in a main window. You can set their dimensions as you like, your images are in separate tabs. The mode must be set up in "Windows" menu, because in default mode several things are still in more window.

      Enjoy,

      Sandor

Seems like a good site! Thanks for sharing.

The e-cover site is likewise awesome but a bit pricy.
Anyone know of another good one that isn't quite as expensive?

This e-cover site he mentioned above: ecover design - design it yourself online is free. I've used it twice and it didn't cost me a cent.

For the free version you have to choose one of the first five though.

As a noobie, I've been using another free online tool called "Splashup" to learn the basics of image editing, layering and banner creation thru Youtube tutorials.

More than anything else, I'm cool with not having to sign in to use splashup.
I can just jump right in, start using the tool and exit quickly and easily when I lose my patience .... as I usually do.

I first heard of 'SplashUp' from Christopher Griffin.

Next I plan to test my "skills" with Paint dot net. ... I'll get around to Photoshop eventually.

Yep, I have messed with it, it's nice and works well. Although, nothing compares to photoshops abilities.

I do not think you can edit psd files with pixlr, and if you can, you can't edit text layers.

Either way, it's a great tool it seems for free.....
