Beating the competition: youtube?

Should one go into a niche where there are a lot of youtube videos on the first page? In particular, the #1-3 spots?

Can they be beaten? Or can they only be beaten... with another youtube video???

    Hey,

You're the guy with that awesome dating website. I bookmarked it - awesome tips on there, man.

As for your question: When taking over a niche, I often study what the top websites are doing, duplicate them, and then, turn it up a notch.

You should not only create a video, but create several videos...maybe a multi-part video course.

Thanks Ryan for the props. It means a lot!

I was specifically talking about how hard is it to beat youtube videos on the first page?

"How to shuffle" has like 4 youtube videos on the 1 thru 4 spots.

The goal is always to get to #1, or as close as possible.

Imo. you can beat the videos with a website! Go for quaility, quality and quality. Quality content, quality site, quality backlinks etc.

I find that by adding lots of videos on Youtube - with quality content, helps build traffic exponentially. If people like one of your videos, and feel they have gained some value or information - they are more likely to watch you others (and subscribe).
I do this when reviewing products - I find a follow up review really gives your review credibility.
