What Makes A Good Pitch Page?

Ok so I am promoting a beginner golf guide which is called golf beginner guide. It stands out to me because the page is nicely written, has the usual positive testimonals and even has a index you can view to see what you are getting.

Is this something which stands out to people who are buying customers? What is that makes a pitch page stand out from the rest? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

So far so good. Pitches stand out when you offer information that is valuable, timely and include some type of unique offer.

It's simple, with a pitch page you want it to provide more value then what other's are providing. Throw in a video or two giving extra value to your visitors and just provide them with valuable content that does a pre-sell on the product you are promoting.

Think of the people who will be landing on that page--namely what were they doing right before they landed.

This is important. Laser targeting your offer means speaking directly to the person who hit your page and selling them on EXACTLY why they NEED your product/service/thing.

Then comes the time for split testing, where you change ONE thing and see how it works. You do this multiple times to find what works and what doesn't.

Creating that perfect landing page is more difficult than it seems, but I feel your on the right track. Remember to think about your audience, or target market, that is landing on the offer. It needs to speak to them and no one else.

    Blogging pro is right.

    1) Get in their head and answer questions

    2) Visit forums in that niche and find out what they want to find out about.

    3) Use emotional language and get on their nerves.

    4) Back up the launguage and use empathy to entice them.

    5) Think benefits, benefits.... benefits. What is in it for them.

oh and test, then test some more and test again.

Sometimes the crappy idea i have works the best. Dont you just hate that. LOL.

It is very important to make your page look really nice, with nice graphics etc. Think of it like the cover of a book, if it doesn't have an epic cover, you're probably not going to read it.

Don't put any links to other websites on your pitch page, or links to other parts of your site, it will leak traffic. There should only be a links to buy, contact you, and join your email list.

Study the pitch pages of successful products, and make yours like theirs.
