I Need Help With Point of Sale and Collections Solution

Warriors, I'm looking to expand on my re-seller opp's and need help with a software solution. Thanks in advance for any input

I'm developing a project where I will be selling unique artisan products from several artists. I will be a dealer/broker if you will for these artists. Everything is in place and now I need to develop the POS and collections process.

The plan is to sell the products from my online real-estate on behalf of the artist, collect the monies through Pay-Pal, retain a 25% commission. Submit the request for order to the artist along with their 75% of the sale price and remove myself from the process at this point.

I'm looking for recommendations of solutions that will integrate with a wordpress blog site. I'll ultimately purchase the best solution, but of course I'm looking for the simplest and least expensive methods available.

To your continued success ....

So in short: You are art drop-shipping.

That sounds like an interesting opportinity.

The simplest/least expensive method would involve adding a paypal button to each peice of artwork you display on your blog.

This would take about 30 seconds and provide you with the nessasary tools to accept payments and recieve a customers shipping address.

This would involve manually paying the artist and telling him/her where to send the peice.

If you want something more sophisticated with a customers area, order tracking, customer help desk, discount codes, newsletter functionality, automatically send 75% to artist, automatically forward shipping address to artist etc

You would be best off paying a freelancer $300 for a custom built solution.

I know a few talented freelancers who would jump at the chance, PM me if you want some email addresses.

    Good luck!

Look into PayPal's adaptive payments. You can set it up to where the artist gets paid and PayPal instantly sends you your commission. This puts all of the responsibility on the artist to deliver and leaves you out of the buyer / seller relationship.

Thanks, gentlemen . Unless I begin receiving a mad number of orders, it sounds as if I already had the solution available through Pay-Pal. Heading to pay-Pal post haste to investigate! If I need a programming solution you could be hearing back from me "Highrank" .

      Thanks again - Winlin
