What is the commission that a middleman gets for another completing an online survey? What is the initial commission for the affiliate before he gives the user some of his commission? Thank you

        Broosa,

The amount will vary depending on the offer and network chosen. You need to look into what they are giving at the network level.

        Suzanne,

All surveys aren't scams anymore than all make money products are scams. I've been paid by a good number of survey companies over the years as that was one of my first online money making ventures. In fact, I still get emails from quite a few as I haven't taken the time to delete my accounts.

The scammy stuff is mainly the idiotic way some CPA marketers try to trick people into signing up for stuff.

          Agreed.

Just like other businesses there are scammers and legitimate businesses.. stating that all of them are scam is a bit ignorant if you ask me.

Take a look at globaltestmarket, do you think such a big and renowned company is a scam ? Eh, no..of course .

In fact I have investigated the possibilities of earning a bit of money through surveys myself, as you might have notice I have even made a blogger about it with a link in my sig in order to help newbies that are struggling to make their first $.

In fact I'll go in full disclosure mode about it .

I wanted to investigate the legitimity of some surveys companys, because I noticed there are alot of survey offers in the CPA network im registered and guess what many of them have a good EPC.

The problem though is that I can't try(and register because I was initially interested about earning my first few $ from this, not only promote it..) all of them because most of them require you to be a US resident to register or other country specific requirement.

But I can tell you most big companys are'nt scam that's pretty much for sure.

As I said I'm registered at globatestmarket, and I earn a few points already and I can tell you it's not BS for example I did a survey for a huge company that is in the health market yesterday, here is a screenshot proof If you think I might be bluffing.. :

          Uploaded with ImageShack.us

95 Points is'nt much, and you will need 1000 points to check out, which is the balance for 50$, of course it's not much but I think it's cool to help you build you first $ which will help you build and grow your business.

Regarding the amount you can earn for promoting it, it depends.. But I recommend you look for refferal programs in surveys if you want to promote instead of doing CPA like I did you can probably earn more this way.

I just checked though and I see globaltest market closed their refferal program, probably because they could'nt afford to pay all the peoples.

          Hope this helps

The whole reasons for surveys are to get feedback to help the one who posted it make the products better. It isn't to make you rich or make money. They throw the incentive in there so that it will motivate us to take the survey.

Be very careful when joining some online surveys that will state that they will pay you either in cash through PayPal or some gift check voucher. I have encountered not once but twice when I registered in these sites (I forgot their name, but one was always asking for online game surveys) and I already reached the cash out marker, but when I tried to withdraw the amount, whatever I do to click and click for my money, nothing happened and after a few months, the site was gone. It was like; I was doing them something for two months and end up with nothing.
Yup, online surveys are for generating some feedback on the products, services or probably to know what is the most marketable niche or item in the Internet Marketing business. But I wouldn't say that all of the online surveys are that kind of a scam, there are legit online surveys but as we all know, the payment isn't that much but still, one can earn some amount of money or items from online surveys.

Surveys are completely real, and my wife still does them. There's not a ton of them here in Costa Rica, but when they're available, she does them. The last ones she did, she had to go around to the local Shell gas stations, buy x amount of gasoline, and do simple things like go inside and buy a pack of gum, or ask the attendant to check the air in her tires, etc, and when she got back home, she had to fill out a report and scan in her receipts. The pay was very good for what she had to do.

    Broosa,

Take it from my experience. I have done online surveys in the past. True. There are legit survey companies. However, their pay is measly for FREE surveys compared to affiliate products you can sell. Do you really want to spend an hour for measly 80 cents?

If you are planning to complete paid offers, take note on everything. Read the fine print. Get the company's address and phone number. Call the company up to authenticate.

Also, look at the company's profile on BBB.org. First, does that company even exist on BBB? Look at the number of complaints in their profile and read them.

What I have done is when I thoroughly researched the companies, I recorded everything in a spreadsheet about all the survey companies - company name, phone number, contact, email address, charge, date of charge, etc. Find out exactly how much they are going to charge if you are completing a paid offer. Make sure each company only charges as you expect. I remember when I was completing offers, there are even third parties involved that you are not even aware of that are affiliated with the companies you sign up with. I was double charged and got my bank to reverse the charges. Make sure you know exactly what and how much you are getting charged. This will frustrate the h?$# out of you. I assure you. It is not worth your efforts. It is hair pulling time and pure hellish. Good luck if you are planning to continue down this road.

You mentioned Cashcrate. This site is not a scam and might prove to be a nice extra income stream if done right. I personally do not make much from, maybe 30 bucks a month. But, I have also use Adsense and I work offline. I am always on the look out for other ways to make money using sites like Cashcrate. If you have any ideas that will help refer other members than by all means lets share
