N00bie: Please Stop Peeing In The Hall...

I've been thinking a lot lately about all the hoopla with one-line posters, n00b MMM drive-bys, etc., and just want to make the following observations...

N00b's...Listen up.

It doesn't matter WHAT "Mack" told you- I'm not interested in your MMM cr*p. In fact, when I see you post your count increasers, I'm gonna report 'em and add you to my "ignore" list. Period.

And...It doesn't matter if you get your 30 posts and saddle up a WSO. I won't BUY it unless you've shown me some value by posting thoughtful, helpful threads and posts first. Period.

Now, you MAY sell it to some others here...maybe quite a few, but I can virtually guarantee that if selling WSO's is your only reason for being here, you're going to run out of customers eventually, probably very quickly too.

If that's all you are after you're missing the point. The education to be had on this forum has launched many a 6 and even 7 figure income. Indeed, MY entire business was built on Allen Says' shoulders (from what I discovered here), and I do very nicely, thank you.

Here's the deal: This is NOT a "Marketplace".

This is a "Marketing Forum" and should be thought of as a kind of "Virtual Campus". And the "Professors" are here to learn and instruct...not "feed" on each other, regardless of what you may have been told elsewhere.

And, like most "Campuses", there's a "Campus Bookstore". That's the WSO and Classified Sections. But like all school bookstores, it's a very specialized marketplace.

If you have a "Textbook" or Niche Product, PLR, Tool, etc. that will really help other marketers make money, then that's totally cool. Post it up! As long as it's a quality offer, presented with integrity and good support, you'll do well.

But if your only goal is to post your 30, push out a rehashed, ill-researched piece of sh*t under the username jimbob1234, and then fu*k up the delivery and neglect to answer e-mails, or worse: fail to even provide a means for customers to contact you outside the forum at ALL, you are going to do irreparable damage to your rep and future here.

And That's Sad. You are going to get a one-off, miniscule drop-in-the-bucket of cash, and walk away from a million dollar FREE education.

See, we're NOT the "Market". Not unless you are selling *very* specialized tools and products explicitly designed to make us money. And the bar is pretty high on that, for me at least.

Far better to discover how to take part in the insane riches that are literally waiting for you "Out There"...In the REAL "Marketplace". That's what the WF is for.

This is my "Alma Mater", and it should be yours as well. That's how you should be thinking of it.
