I'm so upset, I created a post and Mistakenly Deleted it I guess haha. I recently purchased my 1st WSO about a week or so ago. It taught me how to write and sell an ebook. I was intigued and proactive so followed through with the idea. After a few days, I noticed it caught the attention of a few viewers on Ebay. I did not however, make a sale. I got the idea of buying ebooks with PLR rights defined in the WSO guide. I did! I was now armed with thousands of PLR ebooks and Software,Graphics etc. I started making ads on Ebay a few days ago..and now have 18 products for sale. I noticed I have 2 watchers. I am selling these E-books for .99 cents. An example for you to look at would be...go to ebay and type Become An Expert Cake Decorator In Double Quick Time! Then look at page and click see sellers other items...then you could see my other ads! I am hoping someone here can tell me if I am on the right path and should continue with this endeavor. I enjoy what I am doing and really hope this is a viable way to make money. If you find I am completely off course..please say haha. Thank you for your help!

Keep working at it for a few more weeks and see if you get a ton of sales! It looks like you're going in the right path so far and you seem to enjoy it which is a plus!

I know absolutely nothing about selling on ebay... but what I can tell you is this. Keep doing what you are doing, stay consistent with your efforts, you will want to test different components of your ads (headlines, sub-headlines etc.), always test to see what is giving you the best result.

Run two auctions of the same exact book but use different ads, see which one converts better, take the winner and make 1 slightly different ad and run it and the winning ad again, do this over and over and you will soon be an expert on selling ebooks on ebay.

Then guess what? You can write a book on how to sell on ebay.

The best way to use Ebay when selling that kind of stuff is to go dirt cheap and use it more for list building purposes IMO.

"I will send this item by postal mail. Sending this item by email or by any other digital delivery method is not allowed and violates eBay policy."
Um, I think you are breaking the rules. You say on your ad that you will send to the paypal email. This is not allowed and you are going to get those all banned.

Also, your sales page has much to be desired. I would do an overhaul on the listing title, and I'd give a bit of details on those chapters to add some additional keywords.

You want the item to show up when people search for specific cake decorating items. This will give you the most for your listing.

Too many exclaimation marks in your copy.

Burn the ebook onto CD and ship it. It can be sent via "media mail" which is less than the normal shipping costs.

Take one over to the post office, have them weigh it as media mail and get an estimate of the furthest destination.

Wow! Sry I haven't replied in awhile. Thanks so much Jill for the criticism and advice! I kind of started over in pursuing that same plan. I have chatted with some others that do the same thing on Ebay and recently altered my attack. It's working! I am now selling 4-7 ebooks a day only for .99 cents each. I am enjoying the thrill of hitting the refresh button on the "my selling" tab haha. After fees with paypal and Ebay, I am only profiting 2-3 bucks a day haha. However, I am only addying about 20-25 books auction style. It's so embarrassing looking back at my ads prior to your post haha, but now I think I am on the right path. I'm excited to think that perhaps stepping up these little ads to 80-100 placed, could maybe yield $8-12 per day profit.
$200-300 per month is a very realistic and satisfying outcome for my very 1st online money-making venture! I have only 1 hurdle left to address in regards of that goal. I seem to only get feedback from half of the people I deliver the ebooks to. The ebooks I sell are very common and saturated...in another words, they are worth exactly the .99 cents they pay! Some are better then others haha. So I recently started sending a general email as follows...Thank you for your purchase! I included a free bonus ebook related to the subject matter of the one you purchased from me. Upon receipt of these ebooks...be sure to leave feedback as it serves as confirmation to me that you received your item(s) as promised. I will then leave feedback to you promptly.
          Thank you,
          Alivewirez
I am hoping that email will encourage the buyer to leave feedback?
Also, wow! I'm amazed that paypal takes .33 cents of each transaction!
Ahh well, I am just loving this right now!
Thanks again for the help all!

When it was OK to sell digital downloads on eBay I did it and never broke $20 in sales.

I'm not that up to date on ebay rules now, however, I think you have to list ebooks in the classified section.

Some claim they make thousands with public domain CDs, I don't know if its true or not.
