free domain registration?

Do you trust it?

I found a site (free-domain (dot) com) that appears to be affiliate program or something because I also saw it called 101freedomain.

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have checked this out before. It doesn't look like anything has been updated on it since 2004 so that is two red flags waving in the wind (the other being that it is free).

I was just trying to see if any of you knew anything about it before I totally dismissed it.

    Stay away from the free domain offers... They usually require you to use their hosting service, or they nail you for a ridiculous renewal price come nexr year. They usually make it exremely difficult to try and change registrars as well.
