I guess that would really depend on how much value that website has to you and what you know you can do with it.

for example if its a 6 year old domain and its keyword rich per your niche market and you know you could rank it to page rank 1 in the search engines and monetize it - then it's worth something

If I knew i could profit from it I would try to get a deal - just try to work out a good deal with the seller - ask them what they want for it and try to go lower if you can ~

There's EstiBot which is fairly well known, but no tool is completely accurate.

Perhaps post on the appraisals section on a domain forum such as NamePros? (It's free)

The way you phrased that question makes it impossible to answer accurately. The 'worthiness' of a domain is entirely subjective to the person using it. For some, worthiness means having a lot of external benefits like traffic, age and backlinks. To others, just having a strong keyword domain relating to what they're promoting is complete worthiness. Others would consider a super short domain or a brandable domain as 'worthy'. What exactly are you trying to achieve?
