Linking to your own sites -- questions

I've about 35 domains/websites

Would google have any issues with me adding a "Partners" area on the front page linking to each site.

Some of my sites are PR2 and PR1 so it would bust the others.

Would something like this be ok ?

If they aren't the same niche I think it was? I honestly don't care though, even if Google hates it I still link my website to each other even if the niche are the same. As long as you don't over do it and add thousands of links with each other then I guess it should be okay.

Because normally bots do that kind of things which adds thousands and thousands of links. Adding only 35 shouldn't be a problem.

I link to my own sites, but only if they are in the same niche or closely related. You have to keep linking natural, as long as you do that then it should be fine. Even then, I wouldn't go crazy and put 100s of links to my own sites, I'd keep it to below 25 at the most.

I might daisy chain them, 4 or 5 on each site ( related is possible ) and different ones on the each page.. so there's a fair share.

As for managing them.. it's not to hard.. they are set and forget sites... I add a new article once a month. ( well most are set and forget )

My plan is to have 100+ sites

    thanks for the replies.

Are all your sites hosted on the same server or running on separate servers? If each domain is using the same server don't waste your time linking between them, it wont provide any value.

You're better off working on some 3 way linking partners to get a better result for your effort.

It might not help you in google, but if you have some closely related sites that your visitors might appreciate finding, theres nothing wrong with bringing your visitor there.

If they are on the same server (under same IPs) don't do it.

they are all on the same server.

I might get a new account with a few different IP's .. I'm in the market for a new one at the moment.

    Google could care less.

It just looks at certain SEO characteristics.

    Domain name.

    Sub-folder/sub-page naming

    on page seo

    off page seo.

Just don't worry so much about Google.

Maybe link randomly from one site to another rather than random link wheels. I think that would bear less risk of backlash than one giant linkwheel that screams "HEY GOOGLE, I OWN ALL OF THESE SITES!"
