Hello all.
I notice that when creating a hop link in click bank, the link actually
shows the world my nickname and log-in password.

Isn't this a great security issue for my account???

Thanks for any feedback.

No, it only shows your nickname: that's how CB tracks things.

The only way it would show your password is if you put it into the "Tracking ID" field but then that would be your fault, not Clickbanks'.

There are also several ways you can conceal your Clickbank hoplink. Clickbank themselves offer one way, but personally I prefer a more sophisticated yet simple way: use a 301 redirect in your .htaccess file.

    OOps.... well, here goes:

    1. find the .htaccess file in the root of your hosting account. Since this file is usually hidden by default, you must un-hide it. If you use cPanel, you can use the File Manager in cPanel to access your files, then check the "Show hidden files" box.

    2. Once you have opened the .htaccess file, enter your urls like this:

    redirect 301 /somefile.html hxxp://myaffiliatexample.net/?tid=someid

the "somefile.html" can be anything that looks good. It is simply the destination the link in your page points to, and this page actually doesn't exist.

NOTE: I changed http to hxxp to prevent this example from being turned into a live link here on the page.

In case there isn't an .htacces file present, you simply make one. Use a text editor like Notepad, enter the code, save the file as ".htaccess" and upload.

    Hope this helps!

I don't think that code will work!
      redirect 301 /www.BestArticlesonline4u.com hxxp://articlesite.com/?tid=mylink

you need to replace it with this.... http

      hope that helps,
