Contest Launch & Taking Action

Hi warriors...

I don't know if this will inspire, but hoping it will

Being a relative newbie, I got caught up in so much information overload...which way to go, what to do, and despairing of not fulfilling what I KNEW was possible.

I do regard myself as being 'lucky' in that I earn my income from being a street performing busker. As such this allows me to earn well in a short space if time, and then devote several days on trying to figure out my IM plan.

I've had many failures in trying to configure the best way to go within my 'niche'. Launching my web tv show,( on hold for many months) trying to promote a book, and so on...

All through doing what I've done, with a massive learning curve, picking up tools here and there, I stopped procrastinating and 'set to'.

Set to launching my contest to promote the relaunch of my web tv magazine show. I put something out there to my small group of subscribers, commited myself, and now, have to take action in following through.

A bit of 'carry before the horse' I'm sure. But it bodes well.

Now I'm not setting myself up as any authority on how to do anything, other than in taking action, my 'plan' has been fleshed out and I now have a more clearly defined goal.

I'm sure it's all been said by many great IMers here, but just thought I'd enthuse over how good it feels to have direction, (some) traction, and further understanding of what I'm capable of.

Sure, I have moments of panic, thinking that I must be crazy competitioning all of my work gear, but then I look at a bigger picture. One that I see my wife and myself in just a bit further down the road.

Please excuse my 'gushing' but that's what this wee epiphany has done for me.

Happy Times

I am glad you are starting to have success. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to get going online with a lot of so called "gurus" ripping you off with subpar training or systems. I just recently found a good way to make some money online by writing articles for others. It isn't an automated way to make money online, but it makes money =).

I think that's the thing Rob. Well, one of the things anyway. Not being fully automated may put some on the back foot in going forward. Heck I was wanting the programme I'm using for the comp to be totally automated but see there are some ingoing actions I'll need to take.
At first I thought Aaaargh how can I automate this, when in reality it will only take a bit of my time.

Having a 'dream' is great, actuating it is awesome. Even if it doesn't live up to expectations, at least a lesson has been learned.

Thanks for your thoughts. Much appreciated.
