How to sell real estate online?

Hey everybody, I was wondering can anybody tell me how to sell real estate online ( I want to become a broker much like a guy who we call an affiliate.

I mean I know basic stuff like setting up a site and doing seo, but which is the best place to actually become an expert at this stuff.

Is there any product out there which teaches the strategies?

    Make a study of successful real estate agents and brokers that market properties online. Real estate is a visual sale so you're going to need to get good at taking pictures and displaying them. Virtual tours of properties are also important. There's free software out there for that.

    There's a lot that goes into marketing real estate. There are also plenty of courses on the topic. Start seeking that stuff out and study the pros. Good luck.

    I have working experience with United State's realtor. I have seen that real state lead generation still offline business. So, try to be reputed in offline.

    Forget virtual tour's, they don't play well on everybody's computer. Mouse on house is the way to go. (I think they have competitors too, so you don't actually have to use them.)

    Basically what they do is they draw floor plans of the entire house and then when you hover over that section of the floor plan it shows you a picture.

    It's much better than a virtual tour and gets better results. A virtual tour is where you electronically paste a bunch of pictures together to make you feel like you're swiveling the camera around. Customers don't like that as much, and not all computers respond well to it.

    My mom's in real estate, so I know more than I care to about this topic. :-)

    I can't speak for other countries, but if you are planning on selling real estate in any capacity in the United States as a sales associate, you'll need a license.

    Further more, if you want to become a real estate 'broker', you'll need proven, verifiable sales data showing that you were a sales associate with at least 'x' amount of sales under your 'belt' in order to qualify to become a 'broker'.

      dhigler is correct. You must have a real estate license to sell real estate in the US. The licensing requirements are by state; not all requirements are the same.

      For example, in Texas, you have to be a salesperson for 4 years before becoming a broker. This law is changing soon, right now it is 2 years experience as an agent before taking the broker's exam.

      In order to access property information, or at least a complete, detailed description of properties for sale, it requires belonging to a local multiple listing service, MLS. It's not cheap either.

      Even as a third party, one who connects buyers with sellers, there are also licensing requirements according to each state's laws.

    How or what is the best way to market to a realtor??? To offer them a marketing service like text - video creation - seo - mobile... I don't fair well confronting people, even though I know I would be greatly helping them out.. Any Ideas or help??

    You should probably decide whether you want to sell real estate in the capacity of an agent or broker or run a real estate advertising service. Licensing will come into play with the first, and there may be state laws affecting compensation in the second.
